BrokenArrow Wrote:I just tell the truth about it. Clay is a way better team than Perry . The little skinny blond headed ref that looks like he is 12 years old is the worst I have ever seen anywhere. They knew what they wherr doing they would call a foul on perry 40 feet from basket when it didn't matter but would not call one on a shot unless it was a mugging and just the opposite for clay. I will always keep it real. SMITH had an off night and probably shouldn't have played. Sexton had bad calls against him all night and Farmer either can't or won't guard a light pole
OMG, I know EXACTLY the ref you're talking about!! I saw him in a game one time, and he became obsessed with jumping over the mid court line. Every single time he would run down the court, he would leap over that line like a deer!! LOL
And zaga, your tune would be different if you were an outsider playing in that gym!! Trust me.
Oh, and Farmer playing defense??? It's not in his DNA!!!

It's in everyone's DNA to get worked up about refs around here.
Please tell me the last time someone got a fair shake in Manchester.

The little blond ref is just plain WEIRD.:yikes:

I agree with you that he is a little different. LOL. These guys try to do a good job and they have no reason to be unfair to any team. Sometimes they unde-rperform just like the players or coaches. Hey, they are human.

Anyone in that gym who thinks perry is better than Clay needs to go see RAY CHARLES about getting their eyes checked because it's obvious he can see way better than you. 5 can't beat 8 especially when not at full strength. But anyway congrats to Perry on the win. Would like to see you again in the post season on a neutral floor but we both know that ain't happening.

It's been many years since a visiting team didn't get MORE than a fair shake in Manchester. C'mon man! These days you'd think we were on the road when at home.

Congrats to Perry. Big win at home.
01-21-2015, 09:42 PM
Any time you defeat Clay,it's a good win.Perry's defense been a factor all year and I don't know if it will change or not but I hope it does.No blocking out and no hustle when the ball is on the floor.Perry used to be one of the best defensive teams around but not this season so far.Pick it up Dores.

Dang... I didn't realize that Clay was getting homecooked by road teams at home. What do you even call that?
01-21-2015, 10:17 PM
Clay County lost games to Knox Central and Lexington Catholic last season at home, and Wayne County smacked them the year before. This isn't the 80's.

You call it getting home cooked by road teams at home, what else would you call it Zegafan? You nailed it!

I don't know - I thought maybe it would be something a little more exotic.
Like maybe "Out-of-town special", "Special recipe" or something like that.

Clay got beat. Leave it at that. Don't think both coaches in know how to teach defense lol. We all know that they were both Offensive players when they played. Hoskins was dominate and Marcum was shooter
Hard to look in the mirror but both have to figure it out

But I thought the great defensive wizard Glenn gray was coaching our defense since the Hazard game. I wish you guys in the know would make up your mind so j would know who to talk trash about....lol

The "little skinny blond headed ref" is a graduate of Perry Central.

Guys, complain all you want about the refs but ain't nobody buying it! Time to tell the facts:
1) CC couldn't guard Beverly the first half.
2) CC couldn't guard anybody the 2nd half
3) PCC pushed the lead to 15 in the 3rd quarter.
4) Foul on 3 allows Farmer to get it going and trim lead to 9 end of 3rd
5) 4th Farmer goes off and CC takes a 1 pt lead
6) last min of game CC best player makes 2 huge TO's that lead to lay ups and free throws for PCC to take the lead again. CC fouls and PCC makes free throws to seal it.
Anyone that saw anything other than that isn't being truthful w/ themselves. For anyone in that gym to leave this game and think Clay is better than Perry is just basketball stupid. PCC cruised the entire night until the game got close in the last 2 mins because before that the game never felt close. Neither team is great by any stretch of the imagination so neither team should feel great about the win or the loss. Both teams have a chance of being good but neither team will guard anybody. That's a fact!

The 3 times I have seen perry they played very little def. Played none against southwestern.
01-22-2015, 04:41 PM
Ballstar, you need to run for office. We need a straight shooter in Frankfort. I could never have hit the nail on the head any better. Farmer not only did not get fouled on that three , he lost the ball out of bounds before that and it should have been Perry ball before that shot. Perfect summary of the game, good job!

You guys saw it perfect...I guess everyone in eastern Ky. is just blind every time they play at PCC. You guys have the 14th wrapped up.

Well there is on thing I know for sure and it's we didn't get ran out of the gym against Knott county like some people did on there home floor. There wasn't any 8th graders getting played on us. You guys are jokes.

May need to start teaching some defense up at the Player Factory. Only one ball and all 5 cant dribble it at the same time.
