Is it not possible that South Floyd could have just played more physical and committed more fouls? Im not saying it is the case but it could likely be that though.

22-5 is a big difference anyway you look at it. Althought I wasen't at the game and can't say it was called wrong.

How did Ethan's ankle hold up tonight?

Congrats Valley...

I Love that these two teams met..because now I get to jump on here and see all the South floyd fans whine about the refs this or that..and about how this player is overrated or what not...but if we would have lost I would have got to read the SF fans tell us not to whine...glad it turned out the other way..Way to go VALLEY!!!

Congrats to SV. Pulled off a big win.

Good win for Valley tonight. Mitchell Riddle came up big glad to see him get it going. sounded like to me that the steal by Justice the 8th grader was the difference in the game.....

What happened to the great South Floyd radiers???
02-18-2006, 12:05 PM
NEWS FLASH EVERYONE!!!!! SF is alot better than Valley and would beat them if they played on a neutral court. I'm going to do some math for you, JasonBooher+SV+Politics+Refs= 26 SV free throws, 6 for SF, and a terrible call with 3 seconds to go with the game tied. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out and this is the same reason why SV is so down this year because Booher's former players realized this and didn't want to be a part of it.
02-18-2006, 12:13 PM
They wasn't better than them last night...
02-18-2006, 12:15 PM
Gary Thomas is one of the best players in the region but doesn't get the respect because he doesn't start, but that goes back to because he isn't liked by Booher.
I remember he posted like 16 points and almost double digit rebounds in the Regional tourney his sophomore year. But doesn't start his senior year???????

Let's face it guys, SF should be undefeated this year but the refs have totally started an agreement to make sure SF loses some games this year. I heard it at a meeting they held at the beginning of the year.

I didn't say they should be undefeated, but they are better than SV, anywhere else rather than at SV. If you don't think the refs dictate Valley's home games then you need to wake up and smell the roses.

I don't care where you are, refs help out the home team somewhat. I wasn't at the game to see what happened with the foul with 3 seconds left in the game, but if there was a foul committed, then a foul should be called.

I was there and I am unbiased. The officials did not factor into this game...go back and look at the video. Yeah 24 or 25 FT's to 6....Does anyone wonder why?
No, It wasn't about picking on SF.
SV was attacking SF,especially in the first half and forcing SF to defend in the paint.
On the other end SF was firing 3's from 22 or 25 feet, SV couldn't foul SF if they wanted because the Raiders just ran down, got within 25, and let it fly.
I thought it was an effective game plan by SV in attacking the goal, it forced some foul trouble for SF.
If you look at this one objectively, you won't blame the officials.

nice post fox sports.....

Officials were terrible, both Johnson boys drove the lane many times in this game Fox Sports but there was no call. When Riddle drove the lane, a foul was usually called.

Guys, Shelby Valley won. Nothing is EVER going to change or nobody can take that away. There is not going to be an asterisk on the KHSAA website when you look at there schedule due to"the refs cheated or Booher and Politics". Take the Loss and quit crying! And this isn't even from a Valley fan!

What's the difference? When the Johnson boys drive the lane at their house, a foul is usually called.
