This is not a very factual post at all.
Lawrence:
Boyd Co 2-6
Rowan Co 1-7
Fairview 4-3
Breathitt Co 2-5
E. Carter 0-7
Raceland 6-1
Sheldon Clark 1-6
Pike Central 3-4
LC has not played 7 teams with a winning record, they have played two. The combined record of their opponents is an abysmal 19-39. If you take Raceland out of the equation..a team who destroyed LC... they have played one team with a winning record and their opponents combined record is an awful 13-38.
Belfry, OTOH, have played 4 teams with a winning record and went 3-1 in those games. The combined record of their opponents is 27-23.

Due to reasons outside of football he has moved back to WV and re-enrolled at Mingo Central. He is not with the team and is playing very well for the Miners.
Wish him the very best.

Everyone does this against Belfry. Belfry typically only has one SE so 9 in the box is basically automatic.. if you put a single CB and have a lone Safety that is 9 that by default will be in the box.
Truth be told the best defense against Belfry is a team who can emulate what Central does. Play your LB'ers at standard depth where they can read and react. Play your CB off several yards. Use your speed to shut down the outside and react quick inside after spacing out enough that linemen can't block multiple defenders. The issue is most teams don't have the speed or athletes to pull this off.

I really REALLY dread 2 weeks of having to deal with LC and PC fan bases I know some of you are good natured and have some sense, but the rest are delusional as to how good or talented your teams are. It's THEIR year. Gosh

Get used to it. As bad as District 7 is the chances are very strong you get back to back weeks again in November.
A District 8 sweep would not surprise me in the least.

It's THEIR year. GoshThe only real problem I have with SOME of the fans of these two schools is the sense of entitlement they seem to have, or at least that is how it comes across, without the actual accomplishment. LC had every right to crow back in the mid 90s and PC has had some good teams, but not good enough to crow much in relation to Belfry. Belfry fans like to crow, but it is usually justified and backed up by the team's accomplishments. All crowing is allowed by either LC or PCC if and when they accomplish something worth getting fired up about. I do not see this happening this year or anytime soon unless they get better and start to play better teams. Btw, I agree with EKU in that District 8 could sweep, but I think that Magoffin or Breathitt could be tough on whomever they play.

Yeah I see a 4 week total of dealing with the nonsense and yeah you illustrated my point better and more elaborately than I chose too lol

You don't see Granny Bear tearing up the Harlan County forums that are going a similar direction. I have been in a few debates with EKUAlum, who is quite intelligent. But BelfryPride is quick to catch the obnoxious acts of other fanbases, while failing to see the actions of his own. Either punish everybody, or don't punish anybody (the latter of which is the better decision) but consistency is highly important when it comes to administrating a forum - trust me, I know from experience and having moderated two in the past myself.
I, personally, have nothing against Belfry. For what it's worth, they are a top program in Kentucky and Coach Haywood is a great coach and an even better man.
There are a lot of Belfry fans on here, maybe more than any fanbase - I do not know the exact number. What I find amusing, is how they call out the LC and PC fans for being obnoxious while placing themselves on a pedestal. I make fun of everybody, especially the ones who actually take me serious - it doesn't take much to rile up most of the Belfry fans on here (I know I'll find some way get EKUAlum riled up at some point nicker. I enjoy trolling, but good discussion can come along with that.
For what it's worth, Belfry will likely win big this week. LC will have to load up the box, confuse Belfry's offensive line with different defensive packages, and likely force a couple Belfry turnovers when they are deep in their own territory if they want to win this ballgame.

Sweet!! Like I said in one of my earlier posts Belfry fans at least have the performance of their team to back up them calling out the PC and LC fans. If you want to know the truth I think the legal matters that PCC got themselves into a few years back really ticked off the Belfry folks because their thoughts were that PCC is doing this obvious illegal stuff and getting away with it, basically to 1) build their program and 2) to beat Belfry. (Pick which order you would like to rank those in). As far as Lawrence County, I think there is actually quite a bit of respect between the two fan bases based on the history of the series. I think it is the few trollers and oddballs that tick the Belfry folks off. Anyway, good analysis IMO about the Belfry and LC game. I agree with what you said. Troll on!!!

Belfry is Belfry enough said. much respect to the pirates. Lc is a decent team i really don't think lc is ready to take belfry down yet. lc defense had been suspect all season long. the offense can probably put points on anyone though. belfry wins probably by 3td if not more. im just being realistic at this point in the season.

i know i had a meltdown after the raceland game. tbh lc is improving we have atleast one playoff game at home and 7-1 is nothing to sneeze at. I do like how the program is getting better as a whole. the youth leagues are doing great the middle school just won their first playoff game so the future is looking good. lc is taking steps in the right direction. It just takes time and i hate waiting sometimes lol.

I disagree, I don't think you want to attack any certain principle of Belfry's offense. The second you say I want to stop fullback, X Willis breaks one off. The second you stop motion, we run misdirection. The true key to beating us, is discipline and containing it ALL without overcommitment to one aspect... and it's a hell of a lot easier said than done.

I have always said the worst thing you can do is put everyone up in the box against Belfry. That creates a dangerous situation with only one level to break before they take a long run in for a touch down. You have to depend on linebacker play. Another thing that helps is if your defensive lineman hold up those tackles and keep them off your linebackers.

That is correct actually.
You do realize there were much bigger reasons than football that caused him to have to move in the first place, correct? Things which don't need to be shared on here.
