Everyone according to the rules is. They give every school a few years to purchase them.

This is why Bell County and Knox Central doesn't need to play each other because of stuff like this. Just heard that Bell County and Knox Central will NOT be playing next season

^^
I agree they shouldn't be playing.. Cause when they do shit like this happens. It doesn't benefit anyone for th to play. I hope that it's true and they never play each other until there is a complete coaching change on both ends and then maybe just maybe it would be differnt type a game.

Coaching change ?

It was a clean hit before the whistle. He came across the middle on pass play, and the player hit him when the QB looked his way. That's why the pass play turned it to what you all think was a draw play. He scrambled around and didn't have anyone to throw to so he tucked it and ran. It was not a late hit. And as far as Bein classy goes. Last
Time I checked getting someone In a choke hold after a tackle while on the ground is not very classy IMO. Knox has always wanted to be bell and when they lose to them they have every excuse in the book. Knox had all these penalties because of their decions, the refs would not choose to jus throw flags for no reason, that officiating crew would be the last
To "homecook" bell a win. You guys are clueless. So nxt time y'all want to tlk about "classy" then y'all need to look at yourself first because y'all are far from classy.

And btw it was a pass play, that turned into a draw play do to there Bein no one to throw to. And there is film to prove this. Knox county is clueless!!! The big eye in the sky doesn't lie
09-21-2014, 10:11 PM
And I wish you could post pictures on here. Y'all would shut up real quick on the "classy" comments, and y'all would know that barger wasn't jus standin there. He's clearly running when he gets hit
09-22-2014, 01:31 AM
It is possible to link to any video or photo you have access to. Why don't you post that along with your explanation of why a DB would be allowed to take out a WR before the ball is delivered?
09-22-2014, 01:50 AM
My explanation is that he hit him when he came across the middle, jus like he is supposed to before the whistle. It's football. If you don't wnt to be hit then play golf it's a fall sport as well. But the main thing that I'm sayin is it was not after the whistle and I'm tired of hearing it from Knox county fans that are absolutely clueless
09-22-2014, 01:55 AM
It's not illegal to contact Someone before the ball is "delivered". He was preventing the QB from throwin it. And IMO it worked very well, sorry the outcome had to be an injured player but the safety was doin his job, and it was completely legal.

Your such and ass to say that it's ok to hit someone before the pass!!! There is nothing about this hit that was ok or legal.. But wouldn't expect anything else from a bell person always making out that they don't ever do anything wrong and everyone else looks at it wrong...

Bull. You need to get your teacher to read the rule book to you.
09-22-2014, 03:14 AM
Maybe you need to read the rule book, there was nothing illegal about it. I don't care what you or any other Knox county fan thinks. You are clueless and prolly never played football in your life. I feel stupid jus Tlkin to you. So this is the last thing I will say to you, nothin was illegal about the hit, it was before the whistle. It's football. Maybe y'all need
To get a wrestling team, gettin people in choke holds and stuff, that'd be best
For y'all.

QB ran and was sacked no pass was attempted. Just watched it on my local station that was dvr'd. Why was barger not ejected for his punch he threw in the 2nd quarter? Most of the penalties if not all against KC had to be called. False starts, head twisting face masks, and clear block in the backs have to be called. They were all very blatant. Too many personal foul stupid penalties. I think Coach Russel lost control of his team.
09-22-2014, 04:36 AM
Yes he began to run due to there Bein no one to throw to, it was a pass play that turned into a run because of this. It was not a called draw play like people are trying to say.

If it happened the way you stated, then there should have been a penalty called for illegal contact on the receiver.
09-22-2014, 05:18 AM
All I'm sayin is it was not a late hit, or a cheap shot. It was before the whistle. as far as other things that's the refs call. A cheap shot is the one he took on the bell QB in the first half. Bells QB jus took It like a man and went on.

the referees or national guard should have lined this mess out before it escalated nicker:

If it would let me i have still shots of several plays from this game. 90% of knox penalties were deserved. That being said the refs lost control of this game by not calling several chippy plays by bell db's number 23 in particular. On play 73 of knox's hudl film 23 takes an unpenalized after the whistle shot at Barger. If its penalized then Barger is not carted off on play 80.... In regard to "clean hits" it is illegal to hit a receiver after 5 yards whether targeted or not. With the focus that is supposed to be on the "defenseless" player this year i ky hs football their should have been penalties on #23 most of the night. It's obvious he was coached to make these illegal hits. Ex play 74, 80, and 127 of the game

panther nation Wrote:Guess you should check again cause no one from Knox got ejected. The older man just happen to be Barger's father and if you would have been watching you would have seen he got in the ambulance and left with his son. He was upset with the way the refs just made a no call of the cheap shot and I don't blame him either.
As for the one that was flipping people off he was not a KC coach and he wasn't flipping of the fans at all. It was all directed at Wayne Mills. Plus he never got ejected either. They might have ejected him but they never could find him. The cops where within 10 feet of him and didn't even recognize him. So he was enjected either. So get your facts straight before you start running off at the mouth.
Barger's father was escorted out of the stadium not in the ambulance. Get your facts straight. As he was escorted off he shouted obscenities at Coach Mills. Then he gestured the crowd with two middle fingers. He is also a knox Co school employee. The young man was Barger's brother. There's your straight facts.

Frankly it does not surprise me. Win at all cost right? That is what the game has devolved into around here. What was once a game that developed character is now routinely a place where the worst of it is proudly put on display. Like last night.

Good Job Bell!
That was true class taking a knee like that and not driving up the score even worse on KC.
Some of the KC adults could learn a thing or two about sportsmanship from you guys.
It's sad to watch grown ups act like that in front of our children.

I agree with you on that ANON!!! Some parents got up at Bell High this past Saturday at a Girls Middle School Basketball Game and got into it with some parents from Cawood LOL looks like they might need to cancel all sporting events at knox county schools due to the parents that don't know how to act!!! SMH:please:

There's no video of the illeagle hit because it was 20 yards out of play.
