Corbin has to get some productiion from there tight ends. I'm not sure if they were running the rights routes or not, just know there was some confusion between them and the qb. All of the receivers and backs need to block better as well. Are the 2 suspended players playing this week? Corbin by a FG.

Didn't you pick Corbin to beat Pulaski? LOL. :HitWall:

I'm stuck on this one still. I think Southwestern is much improved from last year. I don't think Corbin's last game is really a tell all game about this team. Pulaski would make a lot of good teams look bad. I will have to ponder on this one a bit.

I look for Haddix to have Corbin focused and better preparted this week. Southwestern is a solid team, but they are not Pulaski County. I think opening the season with two very good 5A opponents, will do nothing but benefit the Redhounds down the road. I look for Corbin to improve drasticallly with each passing week. If Corbin loses this game, it isn't the end of the world, but I have a feeling the Redhounds will come out fighting, and will walk away with a win Friday night. Redhounds win 28-21. Good luck to Coach Haddix and the Redhounds!!!

I didn't pick Corbin to loose to SW I did pick Corbin to win one of the two. I do believe Corbin will win their district and finish the regular season 9--1 or 8--2 I was counting on A win in first two games. I don't believe the loss to PCH was a Corbin loss as much as A Pulaski Win. They had A better team than I expected.

After the Pulaski game I decided Corbin is not as good as I thought. I have kept a close eye on the hounds for a looong time and I really think this is a much better team then last year. They are going to have to find themselves before they begin to play up to there potential. They were manhandled by Pulaski and of course they were suppose to lose but it was far to lopsided. If you plan on contending for the 3a title then getting blowed out shouldn't happen. Pulaski has took it to another level that's what a state title team does!! If SW is anything close to what they were last year then they win!! If the game was played in a month or so Corbin would win. We got some lining out to do and if it ever gets done I still look for Corbin to go 8-2 or 7-3.
Corbin 20

Hopefully if history is any indication, this game won't get started until around 10-10:30 like it usually does. I'm hoping to get to go watch Damien Harris at Whitley Co first.

Scotty I want you and everyone else to understand Corbin has been awesome, you guys have no Idea just how good Corbin has been, they were one of the best high school teams in the nation, they beat the #1 team in Ohio, #1 team in Tennessee, and the #1 team in Ky. and had the nations #1 back. At one time UK had 9 full scholarship players from Corbin in A stretch of about 2 year. No other school in KY. can come close to that. I think with just A little time Corbin has the coach to put Corbin right back. The football ability has been handed down for years and is still there. Patience my friends

Im a fan of the redhounds, but that was then and this is now. So you might want to put the red kool aid down, or maybe the bourbon.inglepar
