I believe these two will meet again in the region finals. What a game.

In my opinion neither one of these teams wants to see the other again this season. I hated like heck to see either one of these teams loose, they left it all on the floor and it came down in the end to which team would sieze the moment. As for the refs, you can be assured that when a game comes down to a last second shot, they are going to let players play and decide the outcome, they never want to be the deciding factor, a foul will rarely be called unless it's 100% flagrant. See you guys in Corbin.

I should have clarafied, I didn't mean fans of Jco on here. It was happening pretty bad after the game last night in person and all over facebook. It was very personal things toward Trey Farmer and his family, I figured this being an actual sports conversation forum that message may get to the clay co players quicker so they know not all fans are the same.

I still think there's a chance for clay and jackson might meet in the championship..... BUT it's accordingly how the draw goes......but as far as the game last night one hell of a game played by both ball clubs.........Congrats Clay Co on winning the 49th District Title for the 1000th time seems like.......If clay and jackson meet on a neutral floor who know's what could happen but I still think clay has the more boost than jackson b/c their bench is lame....when jackson gets in foul trouble it's over for them.....

To General Jackson, im as much of a JCO fan as anybody, i lived it when i was in highschool. Don't doubt be as a general fan, been to every game this year and last with my work schedule permitting, but Im tired of the classlessness on both sides. Adults trying to start confrontations with teenage athletes and fans getting personal with players about real life situations. Sports is supposed to be about competition and helping the athlete grow as a person. Don't call me a clay fan because I gave credit to a kid for making a big play.

Next year when Fox makes that dump off pass at the end it will be to a 6'8 stud that finishes with a dunk.
Thankfully as a CC fan that wasn't the case last night. GREAT game but I think the window for JC has closed again for a few years because everyone saw last night that CC has three sophs can kill u on any given night.
Smith had off game but had two huge buckets in 4th qtr
Wolfe led team in scoring
Farmer made biggest play of the year.
Remember this JC fans. You don't always have to win fight to win respect and ur boys have my respect:rockon:

Whether its Smith,Wolfe or Farmer these sophomores all have the potential to lead this team. When McDaniel fouled out some people thought it was over , not me. These boys have the talent to get it done and Dont forget about House he was huge last night. Great game hope this is the momentum the Tigers needed.:Shaking:

This may not be the "thing" to say but I actually felt for th JC players a little. What a game man... However, the foul at the end will NEVER be called unless some just blatantly killed someone. I think the Tigers got a little spark under them last night. Even when Fox was going to like I knew if he missed one we had a shot because our players wouldn't quit even with McDaniel out. Proud of all the boys. Ryan House absolutely got snubbed of a trophy but that's for another day. Hopefully we can ride this to Rupp.

What a way for McDaniel and Allen to go out at home.

"Chip" will be missed, looking forward to watching him on the tour in the near future, but the tiger legacy is in pretty good hands. :truestory:

Would have loved to have had Allen for 4 years at CC
He would have been a beast in a program that stresses winning the way CC does. Now lets go get this region:1:

Agree with that with Allen. Would loved for him to been a Tiger all 4 yrs. Hopefully him and Chip (if he goes) ends it at Rupp. CC has nice pieces coming back. If McDaniel returns, just lookout without him the near future is still bright for the Tigers.

Stop with the teasing bubba
Is he going or not
I don't think either move is a mistake but I do know that ur only a high school kid once in ur life.

Really would like to see the #1 player in the 13th region stay for his senior year at CC.
Golf may be Chip's game, but he knows how to lead his Tiger team.
Go Chip!

I personally think he's crazy if he comes back..kid is gonna make money playing golf. If he comes back and blows his knee out that could ruin his golf career...JMO

Yea, Chip would be making the right decision to go in all honesty. He has had a great career at CC and was a show to watch but he knows his future. Best if luck. Let's get to Rupp first though.

He made 2 big shots but no way possible u could compare him to Fox as far as a player after last night. Fox won the player of the year and I know it's hard for a lot of ppl to swallow but he is by far the best player in the 13th. He might not be the most "clutch" but he is the best player.

The team will have to make the next couple of weeks special ones.
Best of luck "CHIP"

Only seniors can win player of the year-McDaniel is a junior.
Go Big Clay!
Go Big Clay!

And JC will suffer next year without Fox especially early but will still be dangerous after they figure life out without Fox. Jacob Hammons is a junior and played like a stud last night. Zach Lawson is as good of a swing man as they are in the Region. Isaiah Collier will only get better and better with more time in the post and in the weight room he is also a match up nightmare for clays bigs (spent half the game on the bench with foul trouble last night) but when he was in Allen was a liability with all 5 shooters in at once. Tanner Harris an 8th grader pulled some great minutes last night and he had been unstoppable in the middle school and AAU till he decided to devote all his time to varsity ball this year. So once JC figures out who is gonna handle the ball and how to play without Fox they could be a dangerous team by district tourney time next year.
NOT the BEST team, but a dangerous team.

Low post, the word is Collier won't be at JC in two weeks.
I do agree a out Lawson he is as good as anyone around

Although Fox did make him look silly a couple times last night off the bounce. I am not saying McDaniel isn't a very good player, he is a great player and as clutch as they come. In my simple opinion he is not as good as Fox though.
Go Big Clay!
If I was from Clay and you was from Jackson it would prolly be the same arguement only I would be saying Chip is better and you would be saying Fox is better. That's the things about opinions they a usually biased and like @$$holes everybody has one. lol

I've heard the same thing about Collier, and I also heard that Lawson was looking else where. If not I Dont see them as dangerous Fox is that team and I agree he is the most talented player in region.:ChairHit:

But as of now he wears a General jersey so that's what I based my comment on. I agree though would not be surprised if he left. And nobody gives the Hammons kid credit that kid can play and has consistently been our 2nd best behind Fox yes Lawson has more potential and athletic ability but Hammons is tough and plays with heart and you can't measure heart. No knock on Lawson I hope he lives up to potential and tears it up next year. They are all a great group of young men.

Not saying it won't happen but young boys don't think right when it comes to girls. I do know Coach Sizemore from North has made a big run for Lawson in the last year. A few recruiting voicemails and calls that kinda stuff.
03-01-2014, 08:29 PM
These two teams will be in region finals. IMO
03-01-2014, 08:39 PM
I think Lawson would be making a mistake going to North. I think Sizemore has sold his soul to the Broughtons. I know he has sold his career out to them.
nicker:

03-01-2014, 09:10 PM
I know Sizemore has called Lawson more than a couple times. If Lawson and Collier both went to North that could be a little scary with Collier playing the 4 spot and not being depended upon for guarding or playing the 5 spot. Although it could back fire cuz Lawson and Broughton really play the same position and I believe Colliers family like for him to get his touches, don't get me wrong Coach Collier and Isaiah have been the nicest most respectful and polite people every time I talk to them he truly is a great kid and I hope he stays at JC.
