Great win for Knott. Very impressive.

Sounds like PCC needs to get Heston Beverly a jersey to shutdown Mr. Cam Justice!! Knott is the best team in the 14th and I got a good feeling they will be representing down at Rupp.

I know everyone saying Perry and Knott didnt show everything and thats probably the case. But simple fact is if Justice and Hall play like that Knott beats them again in the region on their home floor. Knott can help on Johnson with Christon and Cornett but Perry has no one besides Johnson to guard Hall. Hall had his way tonight and Im just not convinced Perry can do anything about that.

Triangle and two hall all night with Tobler and Johnson!

He finished this game with 1 or 2 fouls and played center for a quarter. Tobler is a monster and if he starts this game it's a completely different game. If Brian Cook doesn't officiate you got a different one too:flame:

If Perry doesn't start Tobler and let the kid play this won't be their last double digit loss from here on out. This team has a shot to win this region and even a couple games at Rupp but IMO they can't without that kid playing big minutes.

Knott and Perry are both great teams .Its just one game and the district is coming quick.

Watched this game and Knott was just the better team.. They hustled to every ball. They played solid defense and just plain out wooped perry. A few questionable calls but that's what you expect when you play on another teams home court... But Perry played with no emotion tonight and When and If Perry gets a chance at Knott again they need to start the big lineup with tobler and Johnson.. along with Braxton Beverely and Nathan Pray and Johnson Toomer then bring in the turners and hills and others for the faster pace.. The key with be rebounding and 2nd chance points... An I expect A Beverly and Justice man to man match up.. IF Knott plays a zone like I seen alittle bit tonight then perry needs shooters on the floor to knock those shots down.. Justice has a mediocre game but he was really non factor in the game because mainly of foul trouble but I still think hes a bit on the lazy side.... Beverley played and excellent game and did what he needed but just was a little too late.....

I blame it on Ira. He ate too much food and got a cramp.

On a side note. Perry LOL. Good luck!

the three technical fouls cost perry 13 points and I have never seen a player get away with pushing off with his off arm everytime like justice does. knott was 17 for 23 free throws and perry was 3 for 9. these refs were aweful. they missed at least 6 obvious walks. this was a three point game right before the last 2 technical fouls.
when melton called the technical foul on Johnson his explanation when he came to the bench was that Johnson had aid something but he didn't know what it was and that he made an angry face at him. I know that's hard to believe and I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't heard it. and why did the ref wait until Johnson was under the basket on the other end and the ref was 50 feet away. I am a little bias but even a couple not fans told me the refs were not good

Better team won,, the faster people accept it,, the better their weekend would be.
Same ol same ol,, so n so pushed off,, so n so walked,, so n so shot to many free throws.

I have no biased opinion for any team or players and I'm not a homer but I also don't call a white dog black. It's plain to see Cook and his boys take care of Justice. If your gonna let him push off all night then let Tobler bulldoze people all night. Not Justice's fault the refs are just too inconsistent and take care of him.

Here we go again, refs, refs, refs. It sounds like to me that Knott was the more aggressive team, going to the line 23 times. Folks, if you get beat seventeen points, the refs didn't have any impact on the outcome of this game.
Big win for KCC, and for you PCC fans complaining about the refs, get over it and move on!!!!

If these two meet in the regional tournament again then yes! I wouldn't let Hall get a touch. With Knott it's pick your poison and if you let Hall and Justice get going your chances are slim. Perry doesn't have anyone to guard Justice like Hazard and Cordia does. So yes I'd double team Hall all night long and force the role players to beat me and try and contain Justice to 20-25.
02-15-2014, 08:50 AM
Hazard doubled Hall in the WYMT and limited him to 15 and 5 I believe and he earned those 15.

When Tobler and Hill are in the game Knott 12 point lead went to 4. Some people seen a little different ball game then I did Justice pushes off with his arm and then shoots that happen a lot, and Justice dont get them calls in central kentucky thats why they have a hard time winning in Lexington, Johnson going to have to quite wineing and play. Perry got some bad calls i agree but you have to overcome them, The 2 bald headed guys are terrible they are in Tommy Hall back pockets. Hall for Knott is a great player and so is Justice but they got all the breaks tonight. To me Hazard is very dangerous Knott will have a hard time winning at Perry against Hazard and Perry or Cordia. Hoskins is going to have to play or start Hill and Tobler and Perry will be a lot better team and take your chances to me last night he should have left Johnson in the game that game means zero. It will be a different game in 3 to 4 weeks on the river bank.

box and one stop Justice and let Johnson guard Hall. You stop Justice and the games over Hall cant beat them bbbby him self he a very good player but he cant beat them by him self.
02-15-2014, 08:58 AM
If so why do they struggle against Hazard Hall struggles against Hudson. Perry must weak side rebound better I notice that against Hazard.

Cam Justice came out and dropped 41 points and didn't really
seem to be playing selfish. That's the way Cam should at all the time. This makes Knott so much better when he plays aggressive. Evan Hall was really impressive last night. It didn't seem like Justin Johnson was playing with his high energy like he usually does. Beverly needs to take the ball to the rack more, he is very very hard to stop. Damon Tobler NEEDS to start every game. Tobler is better, plain and simple. Not sure if Toomer should be starting or not. Turner, Hill,Fugate, Pray, Neace are all good players. The refs I thought called a pretty good game. The block foul called on Johnson was horrible but that's just one foul. The tech at the beginning of the game was the game changer. Get the book right next time guys. The techs at the end of the game didn't matter that much. Game was in the books. Is there any other refs besides Spuds, Cook, and Melton?

I was just curious to see if you knew the concept of a triangle and two. Obviously you don't!!!

Which player on PCC can guard justice. PCC doors not have anybody that can guard him. Everybody talk about justify getting away with pushing off if the refs would get the defender off of him he might not have to push off. People talking about walks Beverly gets away with walking a lot.

So teams can't use a triangle two as a double team on a post player? I've seen it done many times! Jimmy V executed it really well against Ralph Sampson!

Im like you JacobCody I don't know if anyone from PCC can guard
Cam. Every time you breathe on the kid they do call a foul. Kind of
makes it tuff doesn't it? Nobody from KCC can guard Beverly either. Beverly is
gonna have to come out shooting next time. Both are matchup problems but someone
from PCC is going to have to sacrifice offense for defense next time. I'd like to see Johnson or Beverly guard Justice. But PCC will play matchup zone next time.

Johnny Ringo , I guess that Beverly don't get calls from refs. Justice get foul a lot because teams try to body up on him. Be honest with you justice could got to the line ten more time but the refs let some fouls uncall. If they put Beverly on justice it will be a mistake on PCC. He can't guard justice. And if he gets in foul trouble PCC chances winning are slim. You are right kcc don't have nobody guard Beverly but he is unlike justice he can't get you 40 to 60 points like justice. If he try PCC is not the same team.

KCC has had more success in Lexington and Central KY in the last few years than any team I can remember! Won the ihigh tourney two years ago, semi finals of the last two years of the fifth third, two wins in the state tourney! Didn't do the math but Justice is probably averaging 30pts in the metro area!!!
