I'm not a fan of williamsburg, but I also don't like 64's outlook. I'm not a fan of parents/players who only care about individual accolades and could care less about teamwork and the meaning of being a team. Sometimes parents/players like that should focus on sports such as Golf or tennis that focus more on Individual success and not have to worry about anyone else....

He needs to be on both sides of the ball. Play at QB and Safety. If you can risk him at WR and Safety, you can risk him at QB. I think there are several kids that can fill in at WR. They won't be as big as playmakers, but will be ok.

I hope he continues to play safety as well. If he had been in the Mayfield game he would have been right there to make the tackle on those two long TD passes. Then they would have needed two plays to score instead of one. 😄

That's great life lessons "when life gets hard just quit."
I have no dog in this, but, I have to agree with both. Who in his right mind plays with a QB all year and 4 days be the first playoff game changes? Never heard of that in 30 years. On the flip side NEVER QUIT ANYTHING. I don't care if you are getting hosed or what, never quit...PERIOD. If you don't like it don't start it.

Ok, have to set something straight here. Cameron was not being moved to receiver full time. They were just having a few plays where he moved out there. He would still have been QB 95% of the time.

Didn't mean to come across so harsh. Just can't stand anyone trying to justify quitting on a team right before the playoffs over a hand full of plays or any reason really.

The bottom line is if you have had all those great players and never accomplished anything, then they are a legend in their own mine. The only way the Burg is a better team next year is simple go down and win one more game being in Bowling Green till then this years team is the best team ever, Sizemore with all his accomplishments has proven his self a winner, and the best qb to play at that school till someone wins a championship and Iknow a little about the QB position and can tell you arm, legs, strength is only half courage, intelligence and leadership is just as important.Yeah this one is better, and if this one is healthy, and if this one had to play another position don't mean squat, like the old saying could've, should've but didn't.
All at once williamsburg has become a football town, after 80 years of not winning a region, semi final game and never getting to the state championship.Williamsburg has been the door mat in the district in every sport, as we refered to them the Loserville of the South, till they included these outside kids to get them over the hump. Will the Poore kid be a sophomore next year and what position does he play?
The fact that Williamsburg had some transfers who helped them out this year makes them no different from any other team who made it to Bowling Green. I would be shocked if there was even one team who did not have a kid who either transferred or who lived out of their district.

Andrew played qb in middle school and had some reps in high school. Check his middle school highlight film out think people would sing a different tune if they actually knew how great he was not good great! That still holds no ground because Skyler is front runner for the job and why wouldn't he. He lead one team to state championship (middle school) and won by 40. Why would the coachs be looking to the future with so many seniors the time is now! Then wburg will reload with a talented group of underclass men coming up.

Corbin has large numbers and can't play enough to keep people happy, throw in the daddy factor and you could see kids heading south, Williamsburg will graduate a lot next year and without a good recruiter they should return to their old form in 2015.

Assuming Andrew does not play (I personally think he will but that's just an opinion, kids can change their mind 10x between now and tomorrow), that would leave the QB position open to Cameron or Skyler but there's also Alex Patterson that you all haven't mentioned. Playing devil's advocate, if you don't want to move Skyler away from the WR position and Cameron doesn't prove to be suitable then Alex could possibly fill that role. That being said, I wasn't impressed with his arm strength with what little he got to play. He still lacks strength, experience, and IMO leadership but if he hits the weight room and has a good off season then he might have a shot as well as Cameron and the others. I don't think that scenario is likely but just something to think about. Seems to me that the best chance to get back to Bowling Green lies in either of the Griffith boys at QB.

I didnt say I didnt like your outlook for williamsburg next season. I hope the best for all past, current, and future jacket teams. I said I did not agree that an individual should be held more important than any the team.

the last D-1 player from Williamsburg played at Whitley County and just finished his last season at UK. it will be a long time before there is another. takes more than size to be a D-1 player.
