Boys they going to teach PT how to GUFFEY for sure!! I didn't say he was going to run over linemen just everyone else not eh field!! He is like Big Ben with punishing running ability like Herscel Walker!! It's going to be like BOOM SON! Isn't Wayne playing PT Friday night? Geez after reading the article, I thought Wayne was taking on the '79 Steel Curtain. Don't get me wrong PT is a very good team, but at this stage of the season, everybody is good.

55 - It's four: 73, 80, 85, 09 - but that means nothing Friday. Both teams are 0-0 when they take the field. Wayne beat a team last Friday that has championship banners hanging all over and that obviously was met with polite irreverence.

This will be a tough game for sure. I wish the Wayne County boys the best of luck as they board the bus to Paducah tomorrow. I hear they are staying the night in Paducah and having a walk through at McCracken County High School on Friday. This has to be an exciting time for these kids. It snowed at their practice today. It is the latest that Wayne has ever practiced.

Too dang cold for Tica - he is laid up next to the kerosene heater. Y'all could go across the street to the Sportsplex and practice inside at one of the state's nicest indoor athletic complexes. McCracken's field is where Tilghman won its opening game. Better watch that no one sneaks across the Ohio River and bets a few hands at the Harrah's Riverboat Casino in Metropolis. Maybe it will be your lucky day.

Na being inside is too easy. Thompson might have them sleep on the bus instead of the holiday inn express to try to toughen them up some more.

Tre goes about 6, 225-230, missed a couple of games for a bogus DQ call in the McCracken game. I think it's the nose guard you have to think about, the transfer from up around Chicago. Whew.

It will be an eye opener for Wayne to get the workout in at McCracken County. Great facility.

Wayne County is touting Tyler Guffey for Mr. Football. I'm sure he is talented, anticipates having a great game, and expects a W. We had Jay Eblen, a highly touted QB, come in last week and we have seen a few others this year. Jake Guhy from Mayfield and Drew Houliston from Highlands. PT fans have seen a great quarterback all year long in Jessie Dunnigan. Not near as much hype about him but opposing coaches come away as his biggest boosters.

I could be wrong but what I seen pulling up highlights on him hes not a burner, maybe a little faster than avg,has good arm it looks like and makes good reads on what to do with the ball,but if WC is counting most of there success on him they wont win this game and there the favorite, but I like Tilman at home..

Everyone acknowledges Wayne is the Big Dawg this year in 3A. They are #1. King of the Hill. PT's fan support is so low that 95 percent of PT posts on BGR come from Mayfield fans. PT will be lucky to get 300 - 400 people there whereas Mayfield, 25 miles away, will have 4000. Many visiting teams bring more fans and I expect Wayne will too. We do have an outstanding band. Just not many spectators. That could change Friday.

It's a Mayfield ring NOT a Wayne County ring. Since they are the same mascot we draw inspiration from it. That's what #dreambig means. Of course you all will turn it all around and say what you will say. The kids from Wayne County can only dream of what it would be like to be state champs. Paducah kids know how that feels....Wayne is just dreaming of how it feels.
