GREENEVILLE Wrote:All theses harlan county fans just don't get it. Greeneville is that good! Hope to see Haney back and touting the rock tonight! Be there early!
Yeah we're not very smart apparently...

Confusederiously:
Not to hi jack the thread but if these NFL type high school teams are that good down in TN then maybe BELFRY shouldn't even make the trip to play Christian Acadamey of Knoxville in a few weeks.

Yeah you guys better be careful cause we KY people just don't get how good they are in TN.. Confusednicker: We all should just forfeit these games to TN. :hilarious:

CAK has dropped off a lot!
Nowhere near the team they have been the last few years
McCallie is ranked 12th in Tennessee. They actually moved up 3 spots after losing to Bowling Green. Bowling Green is ranked 42nd nationally. They were the fastest team I have seen in a long time. If Greenville is 20th in Tennessee, they are probably the real deal. I hope the Black Bears can rise like a Phoenix and beat a very good team in Greenville.

McCallie has seen it's ability to recruit from the affluent areas of the Chattanooga area decline significantly since the new high school opened on Signal Mountain. They are still a pretty good private school, but I'm not sure they are in the top 3 in Chattanooga. I would have to put Baylor, Signal Mtn, and East Hamilton ahead of them. I would expect them to drop like a rock after Ensworth manhandles them Friday night. That BG game had to have been a slugfest.
Happy Birthday Demarcus Ware heres to you getting your birthday wish.
If I was ranking greeneville from the way everyone talks about them, it would look like this:

1. Greeneville
2. Baltimore Ravens
3. New England Patriots
4. Cincinnati Bengals
5. Pittsburgh Steelers

Im not so sure.
Even though BG had to make the trip down there, BG is still on of, if not the best team in KY this year. Lville Trinity barely got beat by Ensworth. Actually they gave them the game in final couple of minutes.
Trust me when i say BG could play with Trinity. Trinity is way down this year.

Overall, Tennessee may be A LOT stronger from top to bottom, but I think 90% of the time, KY's two or three top teams would beat anybody in TN.

Atleast your smart enough to put the Ravens second. Confusednicker:
Everyone have a wonderful trip.
Ill be keeping intresrt in this game throughout the night.

Good luck to the Bears. Bring one home for the good guys.

You have the Steelers to high.

Go beat you head against the wall idiot! :HitWall:
4 hours to kickoff. Safe travels everyone. Good luck to both teams, let's pray for an injury free game. Who knows maybe we can learn about this game they call football, you know since KY folk don't understand it and all according to some on here. Confusednicker:
I'm always confident in my BEARS and regardless of the outcome tonight, they will play hard, with heart and most importantly together! I'm glad to see that they are enjoying the game of football again. GO BEARS, GRRRRRRR

McCallie plays one of the toughest schedules I've seen. Their next 3 games are Ensworth, Baylor, and Brentwood Academy. McCallie matched up well against the Purples. Speed speed and maori speed. I think we will match up well against Blackman Tn. They are ranked 94th nationally. We play them the last game of the regular season.
Bears are due if they can contain Greenvilles speed and maintain long sustained drives and eat clock.

If it turns into a track meet it could get ugly for HC. I hope the "changes" the Bear faithful have been discussing this week take shape and get HC back on their good paws. Good luck Black Bears from NKY!

They are private schools in their division. It's not like they have a choice.
Tn has made it much harder on the private schools than Kentucky.
2 and a half hours till kickoff....hope the Bears had a good safe trip. im headed to Burley now to set up and get ready for a good ole fashion slobber knocker ...GO DEVILS...oh and Bear fans.....well nevermind, i was gona hit you with an outhouse joke, but then i remembered where i grew up, so nevermind.....be safe everyone
Where's all of the fans for Harlan County? I see like 5
I just saw the buses arriving maybe we will see some fans
Go bears! Win this game and shut them devils up!
If Harlan Co have not fixed there internal problems they get beat with a running clock.
10-0 Greeneville.
GREENEVILLE Wrote:10-0 Greeneville.

Still waiting on the Filthy Animals to get off the bus
HC is beating themselves again. Most undisclipined team i've seen come out of HC..Fumbles, penalties, just disgusted..This falls on the coach not the players..
Greeneville is far from the NFL team they act, we just keep beating ourself...
