I think there one good coach away from be unstoppable.

Ole Raymond is the best coach on KCC's coaching staff. Played against his LCC teams many of times. Never could get one over on them with a better Cordia team. Guy is legit and imo way better then king.

It isn't as easy as people think... I don't care what people say... I have played in that tournament 3 times and was on a All "A" State Title team....

Perry County people need to stop hating on it... All "A" State title back in the day for Dilce Combs was a big deal... Teams like Newport and Brossart are no joke.. I think Perry Central knows Brossart ain't a joke...

I think this was the strongest field of teams in the All A in a long time. The Betsy Layne team who won it couple yrs ago wasnt nearly as good as the top teams in this years tourney, but hey thats how it works. Next yrs field may not be as strong as this yrs. No knock on Betsy Layne either, a championship in any yr is a huge accomplishment.

We lost to a team we were better than. Plain and simple. I think this group of players and coaches we have are a prime example of why the fourteenth will never win another state title. ?The coaching staff walks around with their chests stuck out like they have done something and their big timers. Truth is they have won the district a fourteenth region and a all a classic region but they have had by far the most talent they should have won it. They dont work near as hard as other staffs if they did we would be in the thick of the whole thing this year. Problem is all were worried about is beating hazard perry breathitt cordia and so on. Need to have goals set on a bigger prize. Before the coaches and players and other fans bash me just think about it a little bit and hopefully it inspires people to think bigger. We should have been playing saturday morning last year and we are capable of beating anyone this year I know the path to the finals of the sweet sixteen is harder but we can do it. Im the biggest KCC fan there is and not often will there be the kind of talent it takes to make a run at the sweet sixteen we will have that chance for 3 years. And it will be dissipointment if we are happy with regional titles. Just Saying.......

I've said that Big Al ain't gonna let everything out of his bag to win the 14th Region All "A" but that's it.

It's a big tournament for the schools that get to compete in it and it's an opportunity for schools to get some big tournament experience before the postseason.

I don't know that I've seen anyone say anything about it being easy to begin with.

I've read a lot of people that thought JBS (Hindman Campus) was going to just wipe the floor with everyone down there - but if they were granted a play-in game in the NCAA tourney I would bet that we would have a handful of people that think they would be competitive in that as well.

:thatsfunn Your delusional.....You need to come down out of the "holler" more often. Can't you admit you got beat by a better squad? NCC beats Knott 7 out of 10 x. They play way better Defense.

This years tournament had a very strong field. They have expanded the tourament roughly half of the teams in the state were eligible to participate in the tournament. NCC has an excellent team and it looks from the final game that them and KCC were probably the two best teams in the tournament. NCC created match-up problems for Knott and they controlled the tempo. They are a well coached team and I predict they will make waves in the tournament.
