Historically they've done better in 2A gone deeper in playoffs ,but I could say the same thing if Ashland was in 2 or 3a. Not a better team in general, just an easier road to the prize.

Yeah, Id say there are a lot of 4A enrollment teams that could do great if they played against all 2A enrollment teams.......:HitWall:

Confusednicker: Actually when you do nothing more than just click on one of them, they automaticly go to pot, because it's a guarantee there will be some exaggerated boast, a half truth, or an untruth.......lol

Ignorance,...lol,.... I think I just made a 100% accurate statement, while you spouted off a stupid one. Evidently you didn't even attempt to use a brain cell when you made your last ridiculous post. You and your illigitimate TCP, sure do seem to struggle with that a lot. Confusedhh:

Ashland has a fine group freshmen including superstar quinton baker. Jackson Pruitt is very impressive as well that kid should see some playing time next year as well.

Not really a rumor they are a good group who played well without there best player. I do not know how they compare to the other freshman classes in the district. But the cupboard isn't bare.

Didn't Russell wear them out? I would say that busted an ego or two.

That Russell group wore out everyone they had 6'6 250lb kid at defensive tackle and a good stable of running backs they were undefeated for a reason. But when you add in quinton baker to this group the whole picture comes together you have a athletic quarterback a good combination I speed and power at running back and full back and some talent on defense. The line needs to get bigger and stronger but they will with weights and offseason work. But make no mistake there is no shame in losing to that Russell team.

Could be an emotional game for the Tomcats with the season nearing its end. Hopefully the Cats will be alot healthier for the playoffs and play with a purpose.

Go Cats !

Well that's good. I guess when you can get them away from some of those JFL coaches and get them under some real competent coaching that actually knows what they're doing, it can do miracles for a bunch of young lads.

Yeah that's what I tell people all the time is not to look so much at results but are the kids making noticeable improvement. The last few years are the first time some of these kids get real coaching and bad habits need to be broken. I heard coach hart say earlier in the year Pruitt was struggling hanging on to the football but by seasons end had worked really hard and has corrected the problem. He also said in the freshman weight lifting class he teaches this is one of the hardest working groups he has ever had. Said they just love the competition in the weight room and being around each other. I expect to find a lot of diamonds in the rough in this group that just needed to develop confidence that they could play an win without Quinton.

Just like everywhere some are good and develop all the kids on there team. Some try to make it about there kid or make themselves feel like Vince Lombardi cause they have dominated a JFL league. Happens everywhere I suppose.
