1 Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering."

So yeah, Pentecostal's believe in not women not cutting their hair.


Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

Pentecostal women wear skirts and such because they believe that if they wear anything pertaining to men's clothing, that it is abomination.

Pentecostals use scripture for their beliefs on haircutting, as shown by M'boro. Some of them feel toward it as more of a tradition though, the reason for doing it.

You actually answered a different question i had for a while.
The who cross dresser/transy thing i knew was in the bible somewhere, and i think the second verse covered that.

I am sure that if diagnosed, I would probably have ADHD/dyslexia amongst a whole bunch of disorders because I can't read or focus on reading worth a lick. One of the coolest things about the Bible is how you can read it through time and again only to stumble upon something that you feel like you completely overlooked. I have seen this happen a lot with teachers, elders...I'm sure even pastors like LWC would acknowledge that happening a lot.

What always fascinates me with the Corinthian 11:15 arguement, is the very next verse....it says, "but if someone is contentious, we have no such custom, and neither do the churches of God". From what I gather, it says that the custom of the area is to have long hair, but the church has no such custom. It can be observed if desired, but not obligated.

Every now and then, I might make a post that I've been studying and I personally find interesting. I'm definitely curious of what all of you think of the different bible prophecy "topics" that I study.

For this post, I thought of explaining the similarity between Christian end-times views and Islamic end-times views.

I'm actually still trying to study about this - because I don't know much at all about Islamic prophecy. But from what I've been told, Islamic end-time views believe in a person called the "Mahdi" or the "Twelfth Imam". The reason this person is important to remember is because this person sounds very similar to the antichrist from Christian end-times views. The following are the similarities between the Mahdi from Islamic end-times views and the Antichrist from Christian end-times views:

1) Rules the world (for Islam, the Mahdi creates a global caliphate) and sets his global seat at the temple mount.
2) Rules for seven years.
3) Creates peace treaty with Israel and then breaks peace treaty.
4) Kills Jews and Christians.
5) Kills or beheads non-believers.
6) Creates a "mark of the beast".
7) Seven-year period ends with Jesus returning.

I think it's talking about sanitary practices. If you read all of Leviticus 15, it seems that's what it's talking about. But more specifically, I *think* these two verses are talking about a pregnant woman (I'm sure many of you would understand the link between the two bible verses above and a pregnant woman). Therefore, it would make sense that it's talking about sanitation.

I hope I don't come across as rude by this, but... you're not even in the vicinity of what thats talking about.

Its talking about a womans menstrual period. And the 'unclean' is actually the spiritual condition of man who touches her. This was a law of god in the old law, and kept man from entering the temple unclean, because of 'touching' her.

Just to let everyone know, I plan to list the bible prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled, such as the Battle of Gog and Magog, the rebuilding of the third temple, etc. To be honest, I'm not completely certain myself of what bible prophecies are yet to be fulfilled. Although, I'll probably be ignoring many of the Revelation bible prophecies as well as the generic bible prophecies that many people are used to hearing (such as rumors of wars, diverse earthquakes, famines, etc.).

Interesting.

There was an article of a woman who wanted to live right completely by God and the bible for a year as a woman.

One thing she did, was while on her period, slept in a tent outside the house, because she felt "impure".

I thought that was pretty cool, she also had to put a dollar in a jar everytime she got angry, had a bad thought, or tried to gossip, and at the end, for every dollar she had, she sit on the roof of a house for a minute, it ended up being a lot lol.

^These prophecies are only ones that have been fulfilled during our generation (since 1948). There are many prophecies that have already been fulfilled, such as many of the prophecies in the book of Daniel.

Before stating any bible prophecies that might need to be fulfilled before the rapture, I wanted to repeat myself on the four different points that I've been researching the past two years. I'm sure many of you have already read this over and over again and, therefore, you can go ahead and ignore it. But for organization's sake, I felt like putting it in this thread.

These four points concern bible prophecy today. And keep in mind these four different points as you watch the news, because there will be updates to these points and I personally don't want to post these four points at every update. An obvious example is what's currently happening in the Middle East lately, with the Arab Spring and then black flags replacing American flags at American embassies. If nobody minds, the post that I'm about to copy-and-paste hasn't been changed.

I hope nobody minds, but I would like to post some information in this thread that I have been researching in the past few months. In this thread, I would like to discuss about four different topics. They all deal with bible prophecy. Bible prophecies are predictions from the bible. The four different topics I would like to talk about are (1) A List of Bible Prophecies Fulfilled in our Generation, (2) A Bible Prophecy Concerning Global Government, (3) Global Economic Collapse, and (4) The Twelfth Imam. In this information that I'm about to provide to you, I encourage you to look this information up for yourself.

1. A List of Bible Prophecies Fulfilled in our Generation

First, I would like to talk about seven bible prophecies that I've recently found. These bible prophecies are predictions from the bible and have recently been fulfilled. In parentheses, I will provide the bible verse that predicts the event. In brackets, I will provide a source that seems to prove that this bible prediction has been fulfilled. I encourage you that as you look this information up, please ask the questions, "What are the bible verses predicting?" and "Has this bible prophecy been fulfilled?" I urge you to look this information up for yourself instead of simply taking this information from me. Here are the bible prophecies:

The main question that I encourage you to ask is that if the above bible prophecies have been fulfilled, how could the people of the bible have been able to predict these events?



2. A Bible Prophecy Concerning Global Government

Both Grant Jeffrey and Glenn Beck have been claiming that there are people who are trying to create a global government. When considering whether or not this is the truth, we first have to see if there are people who are really trying to create a world government.

According to a book I have called "Shadow Government" by Grant Jeffrey, there are people today who are working to create a global government. Jeffrey also mentions an organization on his TV-show. The organization that he points out is the Club of Rome. The Club of Rome wrote a book called "The First Global Revolution" that encourages a one-world government. I've read a little bit. Another thing to point out is what Glenn Beck has been saying. In the past few months, I've been watching Glenn Beck's show, but not for anything political. It's because he claims that there is a group of global elites who want global government, and he has provided proof on his show. Before watching any of his shows, I want to warn you that Glenn Beck does cuss. He also may show very graphic images, although he usually warns his audience before he shows anything. And to be clear, please be careful about political bias when you watch Glenn Beck's show or any other news show. Here are the shows:

Glenn Beck has continued on his show to explain that there are people who want a one-world government.

The entire reason why I became interested in whether or not there was a group of people trying to create a one-world government is because the bible talks about a one-world government during the Tribulation Period. If a one-world government is being made today, it's very possible that the rapture could be soon. And this is why I've became very interested in bible prophecy in the past few months.



3. Global Economic Collapse

I wanted to mention this because it's linked with the one-world government bible prophecy above. It all starts with the collapse of the United States economy. It involves the national debt of our country. Here's a video that might help:



To my understanding, we live in a world today that involves where countries are dependent on each other to buy their goods. Such as, China is dependent on us to buy their goods. If we had an economic collapse, China would have economic trouble. Afterward, China couldn't buy as much and therefore other countries that needed China to buy their goods would also begin to economically collapse. In the end, the entire global economic system will have collapsed. It's similar to dominoes. Once the United States has an economic collapse, everyone else will as well.

The main reason why I've been finding out whether or not there will be a global economic collapse is because this would possibly be an opportunity to create a one-world government. If everyone around the globe was in economic turmoil, it could possibly be proposed that a leader or group of people to fix and manage the economy of the world. In other words, a global government may be proposed.

I don't mean to scare anyone about this, but I personally believe we are about to experience an economic collapse. If this does happen, it's always good to follow the bible and to remember Matthew 6:25-34.



4. The Twelfth Imam

For my last point, I would like to mention something about the Twelfth Imam. To my understanding, the Twelfth Imam is known to be the "Islamic Messiah". I'm not clearly sure who the Twelfth Imam is, but I've noticed something very interesting in the past few months. It seems that there happens to be multiple similarities between the Twelfth Imam from the Hadith (an Islamic book that some Islamists follow) and the Antichrist from the bible. These similarities include that both: (1) kill Jews and Christians, (2) rules for seven years, (3) creates peace with Israel and then breaks the peace treaty, (4) rules the world and sets his global seat at the temple mount, (5) kills or beheads non-believers, (6) creates a "mark of the beast", and (7) ends with Jesus returning.

According to the video above, the leaders of Iran believe the Mahdi (which is pretty much another name for the Twelfth Imam) is currently living with us on Earth. I can't help but to think that if the Antichrist is alive today and might soon have the chance to attempt to create a one-world government, then the leaders of Iran (and whoever follows them) would think that the Antichrist was actually the "Islamic messiah" that they have been predicting and, therefore, be willing to follow the Antichrist.



I wanted to tell this information because I personally thought it was very interesting. I can't predict when the rapture will occur, but I encourage everyone to live in purity for Christ and to talk to others about Christ as if the rapture might happen soon. But at the same time, I encourage you to plan your future as if the rapture won't occur in our lifetime.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I was going to try to find the prophecies that haven't yet been fulfilled (other than the prophecies that are said to occur during/after the Tribulation Period). These are the two prophecies that might be fulfilled before the beginning of the Tribulation Period:

1) Remaking of Temple of God in Jerusalem

--> About this, Grant Jeffrey has reported that Israel has everything prepared to start building the third Temple of God. But they can't yet build it because it would cause a lot of trouble with Muslims in the area. In Grant Jeffrey's opinion, the third Temple of God will be remade after the Battle of Gog and Magog, which makes sense to me as well because the surrounding Islamic nations surrounding Israel would be devastated if they launched a Jihad against Israel and watched it supernaturally destroyed. In Grant Jeffrey's opinion, it will be due to this devastating loss that the surrounding Islamic nations will allow Israel to build the Temple of God.

2) Battle of Gog and Magog

--> It's debated when this will occur. I have always been taught that it will take place before the beginning of the Tribulation Period, but it could possibly happen during the Tribulation Period. IMHO and in Grant Jeffrey's opinion as well, the Battle of Gog and Magog will occur right before the Tribulation Period. I personally think this because I think this would influence the antichrist to propose a seven-year peace treaty with Israel.

^Just to let everyone know, I honestly think all the needed prophecies before the occurring of the rapture have already been fulfilled. I'll have to check on that, but I honestly think that's true. I'll try to find out later on what prophecies from the bible have not yet been fulfilled and see if any of those are required to be fulfilled before the rapture. If you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, please accept him now into your life and repent of all of your sins. As I've said in the past the rapture could happen at any time. And according to fulfilled prophecies that I've posed over and over again on this website, it seems to be hinting that the rapture will be very soon.

^I wanted to make something clear about my previous post. The previous post just involved the two prophecies I could think of at this moment that could be fulfilled before the Tribulation Period. I'll have to look up more research before I can give all of you an accurate answer.

The following bible prophecies haven't yet been fulfilled but are being said to possibly be fulfilled before the Tribulation Period. Just to make something clear, these following bible prophecies have many different interpretations to them. We won't know with 100% accuracy how to interpret these bible prophecies until they've been fulfilled. For example, I personally think the Battle of Gog and Magog is going to happen right before the start of the Tribulation Period, but another person might say it will occur at the 3.5 year mark of the Tribulation Period (which is legitimate to say because there is evidence pointing to that).

To be honest, I haven't done much research about this. I especially haven't done much research on this topic compared to the other topics I've talked about. My research on this topic only involved going to google.com and typing "bible prophecies yet to be fulfilled". I skimmed through a few of those websites to see if I agree with any of it. I then picked the prophecies that I thought were correctly interpreted by the bible as well as being related to end-times bible prophecy, but I was conservative when picking them out. In other words, if I knew a specific bible prophecy was given in the bible and was related to end-times prophecy, I picked it out. If I was unsure about it, I left it alone.

I picked these following bible prophecies based on what I've read from bible prophecy books. Again, I haven't really done much research on this topic. I guess you could say this is a "rough draft".

Here are some bible prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled and can possibly be fulfilled before the Tribulation Period:

1) Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38-39)
--> From what comes to my mind, there are three different interpretations for this prophecy. I and Grant Jeffrey think this will occur before the Tribulation Period. Some believe it will occur at the halfway mark of the Tribulation Period - when the peace treaty with Israel is broken. Others believe this is involved with the battle of Armageddon.

2) Israel must be at peace and living securely in the land. (Ezekiel 38:10-17)
--> This prophecy is related to the Battle of Gog and Magog. Before the Battle of Gog and Magog occurs, Israel is said to live in "peace and security". I imagine the level of "peace and security" the bible is talking about is highly debated. Some might say it means that Israel will live during a time of peace where they don't need to worry about being attacked. Others (such as I) think this could be interpreted as Israel at it's current state. I would make the claim that Israel has a strong army to protect itself (security) and is currently living in relative peace when compared to it's past.

3) Third Temple of God (Isaiah 2:2, Revelation 11:1-2, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)
--> It's clearly stated in Revelation 11:1-2 that the Third Temple of God will exist during the Tribulation Period. The first Temple of God was destroyed by the Babylonians around 586 BC. The second Temple of God was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Jews wish to build a third Temple of God. As I said in my earlier post, Grant Jeffrey has reported that Israel has everything that's needed in order to build the Third Temple of God, which includes rare needed items such as the oil of anointing. Israel is only waiting for the right time to start building it.

4) Rebuilt City of Babylon (Mentioned several times in Revelation 14-19)
--> During the Tribulation Period, it's said that the City of Babylon will be remade. I honestly don't know much about this subject, but I do know that there has already been some construction work on it. I know Saddam Hussein worked to bring back the City of Babylon, but I'm not sure if they're currently working on it or not. I'm also not sure how much more construction they'll need before they can bring back the city.

5) The Rebuilt Roman Empire / One-World Government (Daniel 2:40-44, Revelation 13:7-8)
--> It's said that the Antichrist will first make the Rebuilt Roman Empire and then conquer the rest of the world (a one-world government). I personally don't think this prophecy will be fulfilled before the Tribulation Period. As I've mentioned over and over again, there are people such as Glenn Beck, Grant Jeffrey, and Perry Stone who are claiming that a group of people are trying to create a one-world government. I haven't personally researched this topic. However, if this is true, it's almost certain that the rapture is going to occur very soon.


^Again, I haven't really done much research on this topic. I encourage all of you to do your own research. All of these prophecies that I've listed have a possibility of being fulfilled before the Tribulation Period, but they can also be fulfilled during the Tribulation Period as well. From all that I've researched, I honestly think all of the prophecies that are needed for the rapture to occur have already been fulfilled.
