Cantrall Rankings 9/2
#31
Bell county, Belfrey, and Johnson central always field competitive teams that have solid fundamentals IMO. I think those teams get as much respect as anyone outside of Trinity and Highlands. As they should. No one goes there and blows them out, including good Highlands teams.

You're being too kind.

Typically Cantrall and Lit have a hard time ever getting accurate by season's end.

Actually Cantrall claims his formulas need common opponents to
plug in to make it work. And he says he can't input things for out
of state teams, so they don't show up until they play enough instate
competition.

That being said, i don't think he's ever revealed his "formula" and
there's obviously a LOT of arbitrariness to it. It's even worse
for basketball.

Trying to put JC in the company of Bell and Bel needs a
dose of reality. They've brought their program way back over
the last few years, but they can't compare to those 2 over
the last 2 decades. If they can keep this level for a few
more seasons, then that might be fair.
