Yes she is a good post player, but no she isnt the best.
She has A LOT of things to work on and get better at.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.....go back and read what you have said about Smith.....far more loving than anything I've said about Craig....I have just gave you the simple facts that anyone who knows basketball and the way to play it....would see. I figured it was just a matter of time until you tried to turned the subject off of you and Smith and back onto me. Guess it's too HOT in the kitchen for you.:moon:

This is funny, can you remember the Running Rebels? Yes, thats right they ran and ran and ran all night, now my question is this: If you were coaching what would you try to do against this team?Confusedhh: Oh wait, you would SLOW THE GAME DOWN! If you say anything else, you don't know the game or you're lying.

Bottom line is this: your a sore loser. If it takes no skill to hold the ball, then Whitley must have less skill then North because they couldn't do anything about it. Have you ever heard of man to man? If that doesn't work because of the guard being that good, what about Box and Chaser? Yeah, that's right some times slower is better.

PS Run, it takes a good coach to out coach TALENT. Have all the talent you want and give me 5 players that will give me everything and I will beat you. :hilarious:

Like I said......from the beginning......BAD COACHING LOST THIS GAME!!!! Glad to see all this discussion is finally bringing everyone around to my way of thinking..... I knew you would get there eventually...:HitWall:

No, its because many on here would agree Smith is one of the top players in the region, while Craig isnt even a top 5 postplayer in the region yet.
I like the way Smith plays. Ive never met her or talked to her, just simply like her style of play. Shes like another Heather Taylor, only better at that ago.

Since you obviously think so Low of Craig and so High of Smith, I am really looking forward to college signing day in the future. I'll make you a prediction....barring any injuries for both....Smith will go no where if she doesn't fix her shooting from the waist shot. (I personally think it is too late to fix...). Craig will be just fine and will have multiple schools after her. If I am wrong with my prediction, I will publicly appoligize to you and all others who have told me I am WRONG... Will you do the same?:eyeroll:

Smith is a much better high school player and that's what we're talking about.

I have been reading this thread and all the Craig bashing....and your last statement speaks volumes....It appears you are trying to hold these girls to different standards. The last time I looked they were both high school players. I was at this game and Craig only played less than a half but played very well when on the floor. Want proof? Go look at the stats on the KHSAA scoreboard website. Pull up Whitley Co., go to this game and click on stats....Look at them...they don't lie. The stats will tell you exactly why whitley lost and who is responsible and who isn't. Then tell me why she wasn't on the floor more....STUPIDITY!!!! This girl has a very BRIGHT FUTURE!

Oh, excuse me.....I thought they were both high school players.....So you think Smith is a better high school player, but Craig will be a better College player......I think that's what you are saying...... I looked at something interesting in the Corbin Times online...They have an article called "Top Scorers" in the sports section. Why don't you check it out.....It shows a comparison of the Bigs after one game in the regional. I think Craig done pretty good for playing less than half a game. Like I said earlier I am willing to apoligize to all if I am proven wrong on college signing day.....doesn't seem like anyone of you are willing to do the same....just what I expected....:Shaking:

I heard a lot of people claim that Brandi Smith would struggle at the high school level(heard the same thing about Isaac Wilson from Corbin) because of her size, her shot, etc. She seems to be flourishing from what I can tell and I would not count her out from doing the same at the next level. Candace Craig is a very good player with a lot of upside as well, if she continues progressing she will do well at the college level as well.

Last time I checked, these girls were teammates and you would think that the fans of one would also be a fan of the other. Hopefully, these petty jealousies do not spill over on to the court, which is a danger if they are hearing these type of things from others. This type of thing often hurts the sports teams at Whitley County.

Good post.
Im not sure why he's upset.
We've admitted Craig is a good player, but Smith is a top 5 player in the region.

Apologize for what?
I said Smith is a better high school player. That is for the 2012 season. It could change by 2014. What happens in two years doesn't change the current reality.
