28 votes for HC to 5 for KC.... Alot of follks are counting out the Panthers too soon. I grew up over in VA in the shadow of Letcher and Harlan. Great to see Harlan doing well. I pull for both when they aren't playing us. But Friday night Coach Russell and the Panthers will bring a level of intensity to the field the HC has not faced to date. They may have what it takes but it will be a tall order for them to fill.

They should have looked at the schedule Harlan County was playing before they ranked them at 3 at the beginning of the seaon, There a good team but the teams they have played so far has not shown how good, IF they win this week they should start moving up in the polls again.

I think the Tom Larkey will have the Black Bears ready for their first mountain matchup of the season and it should be a dandy! I think that the 1st half will be a very exciting and close game but, I think the Filthy Animal defense will tire out the Panther offense and allow the Black Bears to pull away in the 2nd half!

I've got nothing but respect for Scott! Watched him grow up since 2nd grade. He played TB for his dad Jim in peewee. They beat us in the championship 2yrs in a row. Then at evarts for 4years. What a quality young man, and very deserving young coach. I'm so glad he got the opportunity. Knox will continue to grow. HC still wins! Sry Scotty!
