Just a couple of points:
1. Rick Perry got destroyed in a debate against Ron Paul in Texas. I think it is very telling that Fox News hides this and treats Congressman Paul with such disreguard.
2. Bush and Obama both violated the constitution: Patriot Act... illegal, Obama, well the republicans can tell you how.
3. Jobs should be the major concern of the election
4. Both sides needs to stop drinking the cool-aide.
5. Why do we give tax breaks for those that are married? Take this advantage away then who would care about Adam and Steve or Adam and Eve.
6. Slavery is wrong... in my opinion
7. Who cares about religion I know Jesus didn't it... He cared more about the spirit of a person, just sayin
8. Have a great day!

1. Abolish lifetime tenure for federal judges by amending Article III, Section I of the Constitution.
Iâm Against this. I like the principle that judges are above the petty politics of the day.
2. Congress should have the power to override Supreme Court decisions with a two-thirds vote.
An interesting concept- taking Checks/Balances to another level.
3. Scrap the federal income tax by repealing the Sixteenth Amendment.
Our current Tax structure needs to be changed. The Tax code is way to complicated and to many loopholes/deductions
4. End the direct election of senators by repealing the Seventeenth Amendment.
Flat out dumb. The people should vote for their representatives.
5. Require the federal government to balance its budget every year.
Great idea.
6. The federal Constitution should define marriage as between one man and one woman in all 50 states.
Should include some type of civil unions
7. Abortion should be made illegal throughout the country.
Killing is wrong
1) Lifetime tenures are a must in this field. Having to answer to the 'people' will result in disaster...look at congress.
2) absolutely not. a process is laid out to override the courts. amend the constitution! don't give 535 men and women the power to change your life daily, because they don't like the rulings of those THEY confirmed and allowed to take office.
3) repeal the 16th amendment and implement the fairtax. now!
4) repeal the 17th amendment and return the senate to its rightful owners... the creators of this union... this nation.... THE STATES! (nky, senators ARE NOT representatives of you.... read the constitution, the federalist papers, and understand original intent. Only about 90 years ago did we elect senators. Prior to that, they represented the state government itself. Most often appointed by the governor or legislature.)
5) for the most part, i support this. however, a clause allowing a super majority to override this rule in times of crisis should be included. what though is a crisis? 3/4's of congress most determine. and besides declared and legal wars, budgets can be unbalanced for no more than 2 years.
6) the constitution should be burned and spit upon if marriage ever is mentioned in it. it is a document of freedom, not discrimination. a guide for government, not for sexual relations. the fear of two guys being married is baffling. i serve in the military, and in the coming days gays will be allowed to serve alongside me openly. guess what? i can't wait. our uniform needs updated..... they know fashion. lol. seriously though? for those who think that gays are NOT born that way, and its a choice..... At what moment did YOU choose to be straight? or have you yet?
7) abortion. its murder. how is it that a wildflower in a national park has more protection than a beautiful innocent child in a mothers womb? how is it that its murder if i drink and drive, and kill an unborn child... yet, had the woman been on the way to the abortion clinic as it happened, she'd be 'excersising her rights'?

Romans 1:27-32 (KJV)
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their ERROR which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
It's a choice, otherwise God would not give stern warning in verse 32 regarding judgement for those who choose this lifestyle.

You're a debate winner? Make up your own mind if it's wrong. If there is an authority on the subject, it would have to be God. If not, all you have is an argument. Let's see on the one hand we have RealVille (his own authority, I guess just because) and on the other we have God. No contest. IMO

Wow, you are rapier aren't you? I was BORN straight like everybody else. Created in God's image. One reaches an age of accountablility, until then everyone is innocent. At any rate, only a relative few actually reach a crossroad and feel they have to choose. Obviously, you have some experience in this area, still confused?

Are you implying I'm gay? as if someone should be ashamed of it?
why would someone choose to be gay? leading to discrimination, hostilaty, humiliation, torture, disgust, disgrace, punishment, etc....
I will fight until the death defending those that you hate. And I love it.

I'm implying you seem to think everyone comes to some juncture in life and it's at that point that one must choose straight or gay. Which is in direct contradiction to your professed stand that homosexuals are born that way. Which is it? You come on here sanctioning the practice with your personal okey doke and begin a defense of your position on the matter. All I did was to point out that you are in direct contradiction with God regarding the subject and I provided the exact scripture that He spoke to clear up any doubt about the validity of that lifestyle. In the meantime, I have yet to offer my stand on the issue as it would be irrelevant. In other words your argument is with God not me. So you go, boy?

Quote:SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Pornographic magazine publisher Larry Flynt offered $1 million on Thursday to anyone with proof of "an illicit sexual liaison" involving leading Republican presidential candidate and Texas Governor Rick Perry.http://news.yahoo.com/porn-magnate-funds...28586.html
The offer by the politically left-leaning Flynt targeting Perry was similar to past efforts by the Hustler magazine founder to embarrass public figures he dislikes.
Los Angeles-based Larry Flynt Productions, which publishes Hustler, said it bought full-page advertisements in the weekly editions of the U.S. satirical tabloid The Onion and the Austin Chronicle, a Texas alternative paper, seeking evidence of any Perry peccadilloes.
"I've been doing this for 35 years," Flynt said in a telephone interview with Reuters. "We've found running these ads were very successful in finding sources to come forward."
A copy of the most recent ad circulated to the media by Flynt's company read, "Have you had a gay or straight sexual encounter with Governor Rick Perry?"
"Can you provide documented evidence of illicit sexual or intimate relations with the governor? Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine will pay you up to $1 million if we choose to publish your verified story and use your material."
