Perry wouldn't renew the contract. Breathitt wanted to keep the series going.

I agree with you.

I think it was that Holcomb and Haddix are very close and didn't like playing against each other. I think it was a mutual decision to not renew the game. PCC had won the last 2 in a row anyway! Breathitt Should contend for a 3A state championship and PCC should be in the running to go deep in the playoffs in 5A.

Bobby will not be playing football in the fall. He is just conditioning and lifting weights with the football players to stay in shape for basketball next year.

I don't understand why a kid like Bobby doesn't play football. The kid is 6'5 or 6'6 and he is built like a D1 Lineman. I am not saying Bobby shouldn't play basketball because he will be a very good big man in the 14th region but with Bobby's size and athletic ability he could have a chance to play D1 football with a good work ethic. My point is, Bobby is more likely to get a scholarship playing football with his size than basketball.

Good luck to Breathitt this season.

Heard Coach Kyle Moore will not be back as a Bobcat coach they did away with his Job,wonder what has happen too the Bobcat coaching staff, looks like they will have to gettem off the street,no money and see how just the head coach will do,John Paul left and not close to a winner yet...

i predict that breathitt wins there district easy!! but when they go to region they will no longer have a cake walk through first two rounds like they have in the past they will be going up against any of 4 really good teams.(Belfry,Pike central, sheldon clark,Lawrence, and maybe east ridge who seem to get better every year)i think breathitt wins maybe the first game of region.MAYBE!!! no farther than that tho

Way to go out on a limb Cal as far as far as Breathitt having a more difficult road to move on in the playoffs. But I think while the Bobcats can lose in the 1st couple rounds, they can also win the first couple rounds and the tests that they will get will prepare them better.

How do you figure that?
Seriously, Knott was 0-11, never really even competed. Morgan was 5-6 and was in the top 10 in rushing in 2A for alot of the season and returns their entire team. Magoffin is well coached and has an established system and is way better than Knott. Knott and Jackson county will challenge for the last spot and it will be hard pressed for Knott to beat Jackson county. Breathitt is the clear favorite undoubtedly.

Went and watched the Bobcats practice for about an hour today, best I have seen them look in a long time. For the first time in a few years we actually have a large number of linemen who will be able to play in the offensive and defensive rotation. I would say there is 11 or 12 linemen we have this year who could go in the game at any time if needed, as opposed to the previous years where we only had one or two back ups and could not afford to lose a linemen during the season. They all are doing very well in the weight room, just need to get their conditioning up to par. As far as the backs and recievers, we have an outstanding group. Tons of starters returning, Qb's looked great, wide outs were catching the ball great, just overall looked very good. Can't wait to see what they do with pads on!

I watched both 7 on 7 games yesterday. They looked pretty good.I do think White is the better passer but Trent can take off and score at any time.I'd like to see them both in at the same time.White at QB and Trent and Collins beside him,With the HUGE receiving corp we have.................look out.Our passing D wasn't very good though. We will have to get alot of pressure up front to stop a passing team.Don't get me wrong;we had alot of picks however the middle is always open.

That is what I like to hear. Trent and Collins going to do big things in year. Which teams participated in 7-7?
