Skaggs is definitly Russell's top player and I think top 5 in region. Davidson can be hard to handle inside, Hunt is a question mark. Don't know anything about the new kid.

I agree with your rankings with the exception that Russell is better than Lewis. Hunt was their best player in the districts, and from what I heard this summer. Skaggs is Skaggs.
Riley will be a question mark for Lewis healthwise. Heard he dislocated his shoulder again at Portsmouth. However, Smith got much better as the summer went along by all reports.
Raceland will have a huge hill to climb especially w/o Jackson.
Greenup is the most talented, with possibly the most question marks.

Maybe jakelegg is able to break it down better.

Thought daddy was upset over a new kid moving in and he was out of there. That was the rumor. Raceland didn't work out?

Your just trying to add to the "drama" Parsley isn't leaving. He is and has always been a Russell supporter. There are alot of people upset about Hunts recruiting. There are other ways to get things done than by leaving. :flush:

See the program hasn't changed. It is a shame. Need to let Kidwell coach.

Will the "new kid" make it? Heard he was already suspended a few games in summer ball after walking off and leaving in the middle of a game because the coach got on to him.

Said that there was interest in moving to either GC or Raceland. That's what was said here. I have never seen the kid play. Just came with the territory when Dodd was mentioned as a possible GC candidate.

Knowing His dad, GC was never an option because of academics. That part is first over anything sports with him. Let's just leave it alone and wish all teams and players in the 63rd good luck and let the coaches coach and parents try and be supportive. Sorry for any negative comments I've made.

Hey 3ball if you are truely a russell supporter be happy that some more talent has dropped n2 your lap at Russell. Dont be a hater. I remember the stands being full and a trip to Rupp with a couple of transfers. I also remember you being REALLY happy in that transfer situation. Maybe u should stick to saving souls and let Kidwell do the coaching.

Ahhh, things just got much clearer for me. Now I understand the comments above.

Let's just gets some things cleared up. I am Todd Parsley and I will continue to save as many folks that will listen to the good news of Christ. Even you Jake. I am a Russell supporter and will continue to be.

Continued computer quit! I was not happy with a transfer and the way it was done by a parent who trouble seems to follow. But I trust Merle and his ability and that he will play the kids who will help the team. So please stop saying I'm leaving. Why would I leave. Played here, coached here, daughter graduated from here, son is a junior, youngest daughter is a freshman and the girls program is in great hands with Mandy Layne

The big concerns in parents minds are playing time, shots, points, and starts. Its been my views that most kids do not really concern themselves with these matters over a course of time when one thing occurs. WINNING!!! Im sure all the kids at Russell will enjoy it. I truely believe that if we parents stay out of things Coach Kidwell and the boys will figure out how to come out on top more times than not. Dont concern yourselves with anything other than WINNING!

No wonder we keep getting kids from both places. This is why we totally rule the world.....Raceland will be down again this year but, Lot's of young talent coming.

1. Greenup Co.- Despite the coaching situation:flush:, they should still cruise through this district.
2. Lewis Co.- With Smith getting a medical red-shirt they will be a clear #2 and challenge for #1. (Depending on GC coaching situation:ChairHit
3. Russell- They should win 10 this year.(possibly 4-5 coming from Raceland and Boyd)
4. Raceland- Down again this year.

If Russell just wins 10 Coach Kidwell may feel some heat from the furnace. Im going to stick with my gut and say that the Devils are going to win this year and that they will be in Morehead in March.
