The only reasonable explanation I could come up with was coach was trying to set them up in a 2 minute drill type situation. I'm not going to question anything he does because he is doing a great job. I appreciate the effort the coaches and the kids put in.
What happened to Paintsville? They use to field some tough teams. It seems like since Matney came to town Paintsville has been down. Sounds like all the best talent wants to play for Matney now. It's understandable if that's the case.
Those teams you speak of were all home grown Paintsville boys. The 2005 Paintsville team that made it to the Region Finals had a few boys from the county, but thats it. I think the big thing with Paintsville now is the soccer program. There are kids (skill players) on the soccer team that could help the Tigers out in a great deal.
Paintsville will be fine in Class A IMO. There's not a Class A, 2A, maybe even 3A team that could beat LC. I know there are alot of people in Louisa and everywhere else who thinks LC is gonna be down after losing what they did from last years team, but make no mistake about it, the Bulldogs are for real. They have the size, strength, speed, and coaching to take them a long way. They are only gonna get better as the year goes on. They looked alot better in their first game lastnight than they did last year. I'm a Tiger fan, I know losing Doderer and Brown hurts, but it wouldn't have mattered lastnight, the outcome wouldn't have been any different. We have pretty much the same line we had last year and look what LC did lastnight compared to last year.

LC got a couple transfers from Tolsia from what I hear. Kyle Crum who I believe is a WR,CB, and return guy. They also have a lineman from Tolsia that suppose to be very good. Hopefully this will become a trend and LC will attract the boys from across the river. I've heard rumors that LC will reclassify to 3A next year but I don't know if its true. I have no clue what the enrollment numbers are but if LC can reclassify to 3A, it would improve their chances of winning a state championship a lot.

The one thing that shocked me the most about last night was the speed that LC has on the defensive side..it might have been because Paintsville was much slower and more tired of but I thought LC looked quicker than last year defensively.

I liked seeing the rotation on defense for LC.
This game giving alot of players a chance will help down the road.

Nice vid.
LC & Prestonsburg's uniforms look a lot alike.
Probably couldn't tell the difference from a distance.
