Ha ha ha...that is the only justifiable response to that statement

I do think that GC can have some success on the ground. I think if they can amass 100yds on the ground for the game, the score will be close. If they aren't able to establish any ball control, I think Ashland will win by a large margin. I've heard from some sensible folks in the know at GC that they are very satisfied with what they'll present as an offensive attack.
In all honesty, I can't see GC winning the contest vs. Ashland, but if they keep it respectable, I think it will be a solid building block.

They better hope the rushing game works out.. Because the passing game sure won't.. But that's just my opinion. And I've been wrong before..

Ashland by a lot and then they lose a player to Greenup; they take him in and give him that great Greenup education like they did thier MVP from Ashland last year! What ever happened to him? Did he even graduate? Greenup will always be the joke of the county!!

Carter did graduate last I heard he was going to VMI don't know much more than that but he did have some personal issues.

it won't get that bad to start with. I will be in LLoys Friday night because I want to see this juggernaut of a football team that you and your cronies have created.

hmmm guess everyone has assumed the ashland victory since this thread has turned into greenup and raceland bickering so ill solve this by saying they both lose to the tomcats by 20

You might be a tad high on the margin, Ram-A-Devil, but I like the way you think.

Gameday! Time to see just how much things have improved at GC, and time to see if Ashland is as good as advertised. Can Ashland's small but fast Oline handle GC's big, strong Dline, should be fun to watch. Hampton on Hardy will be an awesome matchup. Can GC's run game keep up the pace for longer than the first qtr this year? Can GC's DB's cover the great recievers from Ashland? Can Ashland's D do anything with GC's huge O'line? Alot of questions that will be answered tonight. Brandon Marsh mabybe the biggest suprise on the field tonight.

Hardy will eat up anyone who's across from him...

You can't teach speed. Unless GC knocks a bunch of tomcats out of the game, I don't see GC winning. I hope GC shocks everyone around here.:redboxer:

Ashland plays the drums on the Musketteer's heads. Scoring at will. Everyone on the team for Ashland plays in this game.

Yea he's a beast, but I don't think anyone knows about another d-lineman Shannon Justice. Soph started last year an was an absolute terror!!!

Bottom line Greenup is still Greenup in football.

Well, you're wrong about part of your post, Badcat. I know who he is, and by the end of this season, every coach on Ashland's schedule will know he is as well.
On the other hand, you're dead right about how good he is. I watched Justice in the scrimmage against Mason County. The kid has a GREAT motor that never stops, good size (considering he's a sophomore), good quickness, and the mindset of a bulldog.
Everyone that prepares for Ashland will have to account for the talented Hardy, but the real danger for an opposing offense will be Justice, because you can't double team everyone.
If he stays in the weight room, he will be a nightmare for opponents in his senior year.
