Well, for JC to profess this win over 3A Belfry as a HUGE win, speaks volumes about the football program at Belfry. Belfry, your on the right track and have been so keep it up!!!

Why is there all of this talk about what class a team is in? Class doesn't matter in any sport what-so-ever. On any night, any team can be beat. It doesn't matter if you are a 1A school playing a 6A school, your chances are just as good as anybody's at beating them. Just stop the class conversation, can't we have an actual polite, clean conversation on these forums without the bad apples bringing in excuses such as class and whatnot.

Hey ryandamaste5, where does this win rank in the history of JCHS in your opinion? I was asked this question the other night, and being an outsider and a Belfry fan, I said it would be pretty high, probably top 5 all-time. I thought that a couple of wins over Ashland and some playoff wins would be right up there for the Eagles. I would like to know what an Eagle fan thinks.

I am an Eagle fan and I will tell you how I think it will go.
1) Beat Paintsville
2) Make the playoffs
3) Beat Belfry (or any other local powerhouse team)
4) Win more than one game in the playoffs
5) Win State
Our main goal now should be taking the program to the level of Highlands and playing consistantly at the level.

He went to a specialist in Huntington today around 1:00. Let's pray for good news! I would hate to see his season end this early!

Belfry had some good sized young men as well, both of these teams are young.

Coach Mickey will share, ha ha. How did this thread get on this subject? I guess you can tell when a thread is about to fizzle out when it turns to talking about cream horns.
