The Best Team in 3A

If SC upsets Belfry, the Pirates could end up making a second round trip to Henry R Evans stadium. That would be quite the turn of events since everyone has been talking about Belfry hosting Regionals for the 100th time in 101 years.

Russell's last 3 games will show where they are at for the playoffs and all will be just like playoff games for the Devils and have them ready.

Beetle I am sure Russell will beat Mason but i don't know if I would say that.

Breathitt Has lost to the good teams they have played.

Nobody has stepped up except Central. Wins over Male and Etown with a close loss to Dupont Manual is much more impressive than any of the teams above.

i dont see sc beating belfry,they are not as good as last year and belfry is preaty close to what they was.

I agree with you cuppett to a certain point. SC really needs a test and i think Belfry will give it to them. IMO, Belfry is not where they were last year at this point in the season, but the season is far from over and i think that this Friday against Pikeville through the end of the regular season will give the Pirates plenty of time to get to where they need to be.

I do not think Belfry is nearly as good as they were last season, but they are still good....

Central is going to be very tough to beat again this year. They have most of their state championship team back.

I want to say that Belfry will at least hang with them this year, but they'll have to overcome a lot: most notably attitude, in order to bring the trophy home in Dec. Assuming they get there, at least. I think they will, but I've been wrong before.

Once again assuming both teams will reach the finals. Ill be surprised if both do. I'm actually predicting Central to get upset in the playoffs.

Which team out west do you predict will upset them? I definately think the East is wide open, but it would be a major upset for Central to lose in the West. Stranger things have happened.

i doubt any body upsets them but it looks like the only team that could would be etown the way they played them @ cental,but i havent heard of anything about the game so i dont know if it was a close as the score..

From looking at the stats is appears that Central dominated the game and just did not blow them out.....It happens.......
