Not offended at all. was just wondering what you base your opinion on. Have you been to any lc games. According to you, if lc wins they should have won by more, if they lose its the coaches fault, when the fight game happened it was all lc fault, the coach needed to suspend players ect. The baseball team graduated two players off a regional runner up team, and according to you they can't compete in the 15th region. Lc goes to fairview and wins, pike central loses to Fairview, and according to your "unbiased opinion" lc needs to pray for a monsoon to compete with pike central. Just wondering what you base all this on.

I'm not sure how you want me to respond to that? First, most of it is inaccurate. I said if LC can contain their passing game then they'll have a shot at beating them and then the rain forecast came. So why wouldn't LC want it to rain when it will slow down their passing game? Also, the fight was both teams fault and I said that very clearly. LC had the option of retaliating and they chose to do so. So yes those players should be held accountable. As far as the baseball team goes, you or someone else stated they had just as good of a pitching staff as JC and Paintsville, and that just simply isn't true. You guys really need to get a grip. People have different opinions. That doesn't mean anyone is out to get a team or something of that nature. It's my opinion and its coming from an unbiased place. There is nothing I've said that isn't accurate, it's simply not something you agree with. So the only thing you can do is try and attack someone personally or try and say their just "out to get LC," instead of having an educated response.

Are you using stats, records, schedule, attending games it is a simply question. I have read a lot of your post you seem to be pretty well up on sports. I would simply like to know how you come to your opinion you may change my mind or give me something to think about.

Well 123, since you bring it up, when I traced mine back all I could come up with is that I came from a bunch of simple hard working humble folks that had a boat load of common sense. Nobody that would really stand out in a crowd..Whether I like it or not, I guess that I'm stuck with knowing that I come by the way I am honestly....Thank you for asking, it's very cordial and thoughtful of you to inquire.

I have watched Lawrence county play several times over the past decade or so, those sports being football, baseball, and softball. My opinion is based off of over 35 years of experience coaching both sports at the high school and college level as well as being on the media side of things after I retired and moved back to Lexington to be closer to my wife's family. I am no longer on the media side as of three years ago. At different times during the year I am invited to speak at conferences in different areas. Most of what I covered during my time in journalism was based around Lexington and east of Lexington. I love seeing the mountain schools do well and that is why I continue to keep up with it.
