I'd just like to see John Noble get the win. If it isn't this year, it is defiantly next year.

Should be interesting...

And also because the year before the Perry County Administration had forbid the Perry County Grade Schools from playing Roy G Eversole and Walkertown grade schools. The Perry County Administration wanted to hurt Hazard City Schools financially. Hazard's Administration gets all the blame but Perry is also at fault!

Well if PCC loses, they know who to blame. You just jinxed them. This one could go either way.

I cant blame the perry coach for not wanting to play the others in the district.
It makes a school, more importantly an administration/coach look totally pathetic not to vote the seeding in. There are very few of these actually even left. Im not sure why it hasnt been made a rule yet by the khsaa.
Same goes for the 49th (Clays) district.....OBI, Jackson Co. and especially red bird are all awful, but with the draw Clay and North Laurel could end up playing each other in the first round and assure that one of the other teams will make it to region.
Small schools will always argue thats the only way they can compete and still make it to region but IMO thats bull. Grow a pair and play it the right way. Besides nobody wants to see a Corbin or Bell Co destroy OBI in the first round of the region when it could be North Laurel or Clay in there.
Im glad the realignment of a few years ago happened making the 50th district seeded.
The 50th district use to have Wburg, Whitley, Corbin, Knox Central, Barbourville, and Lynn Camp, (and a few years they even had All Saints) so you had a 6 team district with the smaller schools of course wanting the draw and when the districts realigned you were left with Whitley, Wburg, Corbin, and South Laurel with Wburg left out in the cold, which i assure you they wined about for a long time but then got a coach who isnt afraid of competition in Robinson and have had some recent success, especially in the All a and such.
