Everyone should be allowed due-process....this is what the country was founded on. Findings should not be made on accusations from people that have grudges against a coach/kid/program/administrators or whatever/whoever it may be. An actual investigation of facts should be performed...not allegations. I am just happy that there are still some people in higher positions that are willing to stand up for the kids.......Thank you to Judge Combs and any other person that is an advocate for children. Thank God that there are still a few out there willing to stand up for basic human rights.

The KHSAA did investigate before ruling the Pike Central players ineligible. Information was provided to the KHSAA and they were in town to investigate. I and quite a few others are disappointed in Judge Combs for getting involved. Playing with KSHAA is like playing with fire. Unfortunately the poor actions of adults will cause the Pike Central players and fans to get burned.:booo:

I would like to see the General Assembley if they legaaly can pass a bill that would state injunctions cant be used. My feeling is if you get tossed you serve the suspension

It has been settled. The WV Supreme Court ruled that the Kanawha County Judge that allowed the four South Charleston players to participate in the Brooke game, which South Charleston won 29 28, exceeded her authority, for the WV SSAC is the ruling body and its rules are to stand. The four were suspended for one game but went ahead with the overruled injunction and played. If one digs just a little deeper, one will find politics and some incompetence involved.

There is one rule that should be changed, and that is to allow the officials to view the video after the fact. IMO not allowing officials to view the video is a lubricious rule.

What's going to happen this Saturday night is, Brooke will play Martinsburg for the AAA championship. Obviously South Charleston had to forfeit their win over Brooke because they played ineligible players.

This whole scenario should have never occurred. Why does WV have the SSAC? To set the rules and make the judgments. But, as we all know, politics enter into many situations where they should not, and every one has an agenda.

I hope the KHSAA is paying attention to this scenario. It is time to take the local judges out of KHSAA rulings.

The KHSAA would love to take the local judges out of the rulings; unfortunately that takes legislation adopted by the General Assembly and signed by the Governor. I hope those folks are paying attention.
