Shelby Valley started Soph players everywhere this season.

I got to see them play in a scrimmage before the season, and they had around 5 or 6 soph on defense and the rest were mostly juniors.

Saunders never won more than 5 games in a season at Shelby Valley, even with all the stud kids that graduated last year, he was still just able to win 5 games. Two more than this season when Valley was way younger. Shelby Valley only loses around 4 players combined both sides of the ball.

Valley also play and unreal schedule

Pike Central 8 wins
Lawrence 9 wins
Clintwood (#1 team in VA) 10-0
Prestonsburg 9 wins
Pulaski co. (#2 team in 5A) 10 wins
East Ridge 5 wins ( greatest team in school history)

The team does have some up & coming talent & will be better next year. Dont think coaching was the problem. They where tough to contend with last year. I know someone said the kids just went out & done what they wanted last year is the reason they one which is the lamest thing i've ever heard. If that was the case they all would have been benched i'm sure if they where not doing what the coach told them. Any time you lose that many seniors in one year you will have some growing pains.

I agree with this except that they do need a new coach. This Norman guy is a nut job from what I have heard from the Valley people.

IMO sometimes a little success spoils fans, or could just be some disgruntled parents.

True, but a good coach doesnt get thrown out of a playoff game, or any game for that matter, and a good coach sets an example for kids.

The only thing I think he has done for the kids is show how to act like an idiot and how bring a player in from where he used to coach. Just my opinion.

Your right, IT IS FOOTBALL! Haha. They need someone to teach them how to play it and motivate them to play it instead of having someone the ego the size of Texas.

Also, the stuff I have heard wasnt from parents. I do not know any parents of any kids at SV. Hear say is hear say though. Good luck to them next year no matter who the coach is. But I have a feeling it wont be Norman.
