Belfry has shown a lot of growth over the season, and have been more than capable in the latter half. Although they stumbled against Sheldon Clark and Johnson Central, I don't think West Carter is on that level. The Pirates should be about a 2 touchdown favorite and IMO they will come out with focus and purpose. My guess is they will surprise a few this week who think the Pirate ship is ready for dry dock.
West Carter is by all accounts much improved, however their record is a little deceiving because of the weak schedule. The close game with Mason County was impressive as was the big win over Powell Co, but otherwise, it is hard to get a handle on them.
It is a new season, I think the Big Red will get it done.

Coach Haywood has alot of coaching experiencein the playoffs. I believe he will have the pirates fired up and rdy to play. Belfry advances to the 2nd round in a purty close game.
