I had heard that he brought in Haddix to mold him into his replacement. Would make sense with Chapman leaving as he did, maybe he thought he should be the "coach in waiting?" This is just rumor, no fact in what I heard.

I heard the same thing about Haddix, but I don't think Holcomb will go elsewhere.

I would like to know more about the returning players and who is going to be playing the skilled positions.

This freshman class at Breathitt is possibly the best I have ever seen overall.
They will have growing pains next year but will still be a good team overall. As someone stated earlier, I believe the O and D lines will take a big hit and it will be 2011 before we may see another run deep into the playoffs. Richard Trent, Corey Shouse, Brayton Fugate, Ryan Cox, Wes Neace and the rest of the freshman class will have a good chance at bringing Breathitt County another state title before they leave. IMO they were the reason we went as far as we did this year. These kids are unselfish and all heart. We will definitely miss Channing, Jade, Jeremy and the boys. They gave us everything they had. I am very proud of them. The future is bright for Breathitt.

Robbie is playing at Letcher Central. At least he did last year. He has lots of family in Breathitt, I dont know why he moved.
