Actually they just added the roof over the bleachers. The rest of it was already there. I'm not trying to knock Breathitt's facilities. But you guys need to stop trying to say nobody elses facilities compare.

Does it really matter how the stadiums came to be as they are now. I will say this. I have not been to a highschool stadium anywhere that matches the history or atmosphere at Tank. Most of that history comes from the Ironton Tigers.

Why are you making such a big deal about a roof? Football is suppose to be out in the elements! That is part of what makes the game so good, Sitting in the rain, snow,ect. and cheering on your team. To me it looks like the roof supports would block your vision of the game.

Some people do (care about other places). There is no need to be insulting about other peoples views. You don't care about anything that doesn't put Breathitt County in the spotlight over everyone else.

My facts are straight. Breathitt revamped its stadium 11 years ago. Congratulations. But when a thread is started wanting to copare facilities don't get antagonistic over the mention of the things that other schools have.

Russell got new Bermuda turf this past year. An improvement that needed to be made. You are right that Russell needs a new field house and restrooms. That is something that all Russell fans will agree with you on.

Breathitt still needs seating for visiting teams. Every stadium has flaws and a need to continue to be kept up with the times.

FBALL. I agree Ironton more than likley has more history than any school in KY or OH.A true football fan would know that. I myself like the fact that other schools are being talked about even from other states. I'm not sure why people are being rude because Ironton is being a brought up.:confused:.

It would be advisable for you to just let it drop. You are the one that wants to stir things up because someone mentioned Ironton. The thread is about what stadiums have roofs over them. Ironton has a roof therefore it fits the subject at hand.

Not, really. Unless you are sitting dead center and over half way up. Where the roof is so high. The rain still blows in and drenches you. It's a little better if it blows from the sides. But, if the wind is coming from the front.....look out.
