i tried Sam Adams it tasted bitter to me but i don't like dark beer anyway.

Sam Adams is not dark beer.

Now Guinness ... there's a dark beer for ya. (If and only if you're age 21 or over, unless you're outside the United States.)

And a damn good beer at that.
