And go back watch the Pikeville game every other play is a broken play because the guy dont know which side is the handoff if its a toss or up the gut he needs to learn his plays if you ask me... I mean honestly when your in college its tough love for qbs so why should a senior in hs be any dif..By the way, I did watch the replay of this last night. Other than a couple plays where it looked like there was some miscommunication, he seemed to actually be the least of Middlesboro's problems. If the Boro went to a veer type of offense, he'd be deadly. They have the athletes there to be an extremely good team. But right now, if they meet up with Prestonsburg, they lose by 2 scores. Just my opinion.

It's hard not to love the veer offense? One of the oldest formations and is still extremely effective if ran correctly? So many things can happen out of the veer and there is always an option created on every play. I don't see many teams using it consistently anymore?

I dont know I hate to bash the kid.. It's not his fault like someone said earlier he's just stuck in the wrong position.. Heck I may see our backup qb play and think we need Edwards back lol... In my honest opinion Pittman should be switched from RB to QB... He had the HB toss in the bell game for like a 30 yard td and it was right on the money beautiful pass and we know he can run... I also talked to his brother or cousin I can't quite remember at one of the games and they said in 5th and 6th grade he started qb for Pineville..

“Coming into the game we wanted to get Elliott some back-up snaps to see what he could do in a varsity football game. We wanted to do it against Harlan but the clock got to running and we never got him in,” Massengill said. “This was our last tune-up before district so we thought we’d give him a shot. He did a nice job moving the offense. You never know when you might need him to come in.”
This was massengills statement after Fridays game about bringing in freshman qb chase Elliot for the last couple drives of the game which oh and by the way he drove it down their throats. MASSENGILL along with every other coach on the team is scared to make the change that is necessary. They're afraid mommy or daddy might get mad. "You never know when you might need him to come in" that's pure bull crap. he did ten times better than our starter ever has. All I have to say is that it's your team MASSENGILL and you need to get past hurting a few feelings and make the change everyone in the stands knows needs to be made. Don't keep ruining this group of seniors final year.

I mean I'm not saying take Edwards out completely he's a great LB and He could play FB or TE I mean I think they should give a shot... If Elliot is really that good could you imagine his passing with the backfield of Barton and Pittman... That was Fraziers problem for awhile also scared of hurting mommy and daddys feelings specifically daddy.. I've got nothing against Edwards I just think like someone else said earlier he's at the wrong position
