lol.....ok...but seriously. idk what it is exactly but i think its somewhere close to 245 bench

What does it matter how much he bench presses, last time I checked bench press didn't mean nothing when it comes to blocking out, jumping or shooting. WHO CARES...

its not even close to 245....hahahaha

Ferguson will be a BIG surprise to the 15th region teams the Tigers face this yr. He will give Bill Mike's boys another quality player. Tough nosed player too---something the Tigers lacked last yr. at times. I hate the Pugh thing too---but maybe the team will get addition by subtraction. I think the only thing holding this team back from the Sweet 16 is themselves.

 Exactly! We've all seen what they can do when they play together AND unfortunately we have seen what they can't do when they don't play together!!

That's about one of the dumbest replies I've ever read......lol. I agree with Redneck though, benchpress doesn't mean anything in basketball. Squats and cleans might be better, but I don't know...I haven't played basketball since my high school days. 400lbs is kinda out there....I like to consider myself fairly strong and the most I've ever benched was 350. Anyway...I look forward to Paintsville and the rest of the 15th this season. As of now it looks wide open.

This is just a scrimmage game between the kids, like practice or something. The starters or not even on the same team, and do you even remember how many points were scored by each player. Probably not, once season starts and there stats start getting recorded they'll have no chemistry. Landon is way more worried about looking good, then winning.

It was a figure of speech i know he cant bench press 400 pounds no-one in this region can for that matter, didnt mean anything by it..
Bench press does matter, you can push people under the rim alot easier
but squats are most important in my opionion
but good luck paintsville, dont let all of your fans down, good luck

You aren't suppose to be pushing in basketball, lol. With your body yeah, but not with your hands.

Pushing with hands, arms, etc. is a foul...or did the KHSAA change that too this year. It seems every time I turn around a new rule is being changed....lol.

Your not supposed to push with your hands but everyone still does and thats the way it is....oh well

In all honesty I think refs are getting worse year after year. Kids are getting away with too much from what I've seen as far as traveling, offensive fouls, and some technicals that never get called. Back to Paintsville, I hope to watch several games they have this season and looking forward to the Hoops Classic once again. Last years was very entertaining.

1. Johnson Central
2. Shelby Valley
3. Pikeville
4. Their Team Chemistry
5. Jealousy
6. See reasons 1-5
* Tiger Fans- I'm not being mean because I know that you all think that this year is the year, but I'm just giving my opinion. I just dont see how you could say they have it hands down. Nothing is for sure! Thank You

We think every year is our year, til somebody beats us to end our season!!! Then we just say wait til next year!! What does everybody else think about their chances... We suck this year and won't ever have a good year?
Just because we think we can win doesn't make us arrogant....we like to be arrogant just to piss everyone else off!!! LOL

I agree with the reasons that were listed above. Last season, Paintsville played great TEAM basketball in the Hoops Classic and defeated the eventual State Runner-up Apollo. If they would have continued to play that way then they would have won the Region. IDK what happend, but towards the end the group wanted to boost their stats that were sufferring from not taking as many shots that they were accustomed to. Not enough basketballs to go around and it showed with their early exit in the Region tourney. If these kids (probably one of the most, if not the most tallented group of players on any team this season in the 15th) can get it thru their head that they need one-another to be successful....then they SHOULD, and I stress should, win the Region.
