You guys can sit on here and bellyache and blame Pikeville all you want....But are you willing to accept to the truth? The truth is that East Ridge cannot get their crap together! Why? Because the only thing the Millard and Feds Creek folks can agree on is that they both hate the people from Elkhorn. There's always politically fueled drama and turmoil up there amongst the sports teams. THAT is why kids and their parents get fed with it and who could blame them? So instead of pointing a finger at Pikeville maybe y'all should look in the mirror?....Much easier to blame someone else for your problems then actually correct them.

What about the kids you get from Shelby Valley, Pike Central, Phelps, Betsy Layne....... You guys flat out recruit any kid that shows any issue with their current school. Someone post on here they are unhappy, or word gets around the county nod the they magically appear at Pikeville........

you have no clue what you are talking about!! if pikeville is so great why dont the boys from East Ridge all transfer there when your coaches send people to recruit them!

You have a solid point. Unlike Pikeville, Belfry, or even Phelps, East Ridge was never one community. It took time for schools like Valley and Central to get straightened out in some sports, so maybe there is still hope? It's all very ambiguous. Take sports like Volleyball and Softball and ER will have a district winning championship every other season. Sports like Football and Baseball have had disadvantages in strong districts in their sports. When it comes to basketball you can think your point has a bit of logic. When James Hurley was the coach he had the team running pretty smoothly and he doesn't hail from any ER community. We'll see if McCoy can get it, I believe he can.

You are obviously so committed to the grand,magnificent city of Pikeville that you are the one that will not face the truth. Everyone knows that Pikeville recruits players , and have for a long time. Coaches send their "people" out to do the dirty work. Overpay the kids to do a menial job,then laugh behind their backs for falling for it. Sometimes this happens to the recruited players parent(s). Oh, by the way,nice job of putting that little jab in your use of "y'all".

No jab was intended. We say Y'all in Pikeville too contrary to popular opinion. So you can honestly say that ER has NEVER lured kids away from other schools to come play for them?

Don't sweat it. Over in the football forum 2-3 teams are bragging about "transfers" and one of their fans is in here blasting Pikeville. Pot meet kettle.
