Hammons is a homegrown JC kid who wants nothing more than to beat Clay and North is why I do not believe this. Has wore a JC jersey since he was little. Is why I can't see him leaving.

I'm not throwing this out here saying this is why JC lost the game, but does anyone else remember the free throw Fox shot and made in the 3rd that they called a lane violation on. I just remembered it and in a 1 point game it seems crucial now.

Collier and Lawson might be shopping because I heard the two Canadians JC was suppose to have this year (did not come because they could not get their paperwork right) but I heard they got cleared a couple days ago for next year and that they found housing with a couple ppl from JC. I know one of them is a 6"8 swingman will be a sophomore I'd say he is looking to get his feet wet in the states then transfer to a prep school but JC will have him for 1 year.

To General Jackson, im as much of a JCO fan as anybody, i lived it when i was in highschool. Don't doubt be as a general fan, been to every game this year and last with my work schedule permitting, but Im tired of the classlessness on both sides. Adults trying to start confrontations with teenage athletes and fans getting personal with players about real life situations. Sports is supposed to be about competition and helping the athlete grow as a person. Don't call me a clay fan because I gave credit to a kid for making a big play.

Sorry 421. Didn't know about all the Farmer remarks and stuff when posted. I'm not for that kind of senseless crap either. It's a crazy atmosphere when we play and people are sure to do and say idiotic things.

I know this is a late reply but this is my 5 take aways from the 49th District finals.

1: Clay can't guard Jackson in any type of defense, but Jackson can't guard Clay

2: Chip needs to control his temper and his actions. Throwing a ball away from the officals, punching the scores table, punching the chairs twice is uncalled for and if I were the coach I wouldn't stand for it.

3: Fox is the real deal and from his actions after Jackson lost he seems to be a class act.

4: This was one of the best games I have ever witnessed and honestly neither team is a loser.

5: I DO NOT want to see Jackson County again. I hope they are an early exit in the region because I can't take another Clay & Jackson rematch.
