This should be Harlan's Best season yet.

Easy killer...lol. Harlan has put some very good single A teams on the field through the years. I believe the 80, 81, & 82 team might have something to say about that. 04 and 06 were pretty darned good too! There were more but those come to mind. Not taking anything from this group as they can be very good, but best yet? IDK about all that.

^'04 Dragons were very tough. They would have won that region in an average year, but that was a very tough year in Region 4 with Pikeville and Williamsburg both having exceptional, senior-heavy teams that season. They had a lineman, Anderson I think his name was, who was by far the strongest player I have seen in 1A ball. The kid was a freak, didn't he go to EKU?

If not for having to try a long snap out of a hog trough Harlan probably wins that game in 04. Anderson was and is still a freak...lol. The best Williamsburg team I remember other than 04 would be 81 with Kevin Bowen at running back. I believe he lead the state in rushing that year.

Im not old enough to go back to 81 lol, but i do know Rose had a lot of great teams there.

I agree 04 Williamsburg has been the best Jacket team. With that said I think in the next 2-3 years they will have a chance to be even better.

I believe there only loss was to Pikeville in the region championship wasnt it?

I know they beat Corbin that year as well.
