Bell vs. Belfry (in the State Finals)- The two proudest mountain schools and the odds on choices to be the best teams entering next season in EKY.

First game of the season next year at Hazard. Hazard beat them this year by 2 or 3 touchdowns at Clintwood.
Hazard was one of Clintwoods 2 losses.
They also lost to Grayson County VA, 61-6
They lost to Hazard 32-7 last year

Actually if memory serves me right Grayson County isn't that big of a school. I know it's a small town. Mouth of Wilson, where Oak Hill Academy is located, is in Grayson County. Virginia 5A and 4A football around the DC, Richmond, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Roanoke areas is as good as anywhere in the country. Everywhere else in the state and in the smaller classes it's about as bad as HS football gets though.

Bell Co played Garrard a few years ago and beat them 55-6. I don't think that Garrard wants anymore of Bell.

People said the same thing about Russell and Belfry this year and we all know what happened there! Garrard has changed a lot since it played Bell last! Would be fun to see anyway! At that time of year anything is possible!
