You must not have watched very closely rippinnet. For your information Chelsee was still on the floor crying her eyes out when the teams shaked hands, and not ONE of JC's players made an attempt to go shake her hand or pat her on the back. Hell I had to walk her to the lockerroom cause she was so weak and sick at her stomach, she couldn't hardly breathe she was crying so hard. She wasn't being a bad sport, she was devistated and heartbroken, it wasn't like she walked off the floor pissed off mad at the world. Before you start running your mouth on someone know what you are talking about.

Chelsee is one of the most wonderful kid's I have ever come in contact with!!! I am sure she was devastedby her TEAM's perfomance in her final game wearing blue. She know's she can play. And she always gives whatever she can!!!
Paintsville just had a bad....no terrible night. I don't know why some blame the coach. he evedently had them playing good defense, JC shot 54% from the field and scored 52 points. Everytime the Tigers would get a stop on D, they would almost immediately turn it back over and I don't see why that would be the coaches fault.
He could have screamed and yelled at the girls until they broke into tears, but that has never been able to work at PHS for the ladys.

I noticed a lot of JC fans took notice of Chelsee coming out of the game and gave her a standing ovation and I overheard a lot of them wishing her well too.

That's because most people that support JC know Chelsee personally and know what a great all around person she is. I was sad when she came out of the game but I also got chills when JC fans showed what respect they had for her by giving her a standing ovation.

Nothing that Chelsee has (athletically) came easy or naturally (except for her height), she worked her butt off to get where she is. Noone could cheer her up lastnight, not even me. Noone could until Coach Runyon hugged her and told her that she was a thrill to watch play and that she is one the best players to wear the blue and white and that she would be truly missed by everyone at PHS, especially him. He told her to keep her head up and go prove herself at Pikeville like he and everyone else knows she can. Then he told her she was better than her brother ever thought about being :big grin: , and I don't disagree with him one bit.

Chel wasn't rolling on the floor after the game!!! She was balling her eyes out, because she had just played in her last Paintsville High School game!!! EVER!!!
She loves her school and her team and I am sure it broke her heart that it wa over!!! I agree that JC girls didn't have to come over and consoul her!
Chessie is a great girl, and I am sure she was hurting over the loss as well, but when she plays her last game, and it is all over, she will be devastated as well!!! You can't compare the hurt of these two as Chessie is still right in the thick of things!!!

True, her team is still in the running, and she still has additional games to play, but none the less, she took a hard hit last night with JC’s loss and still held her head high and showed what class looks like. Then she went down to the cooler and squatted their for a few moments. Did I miss something??? Or after the game did she fall to the floor and start rolling around??? If she did, then I did not see that. If that happened, then I agree that, that would be a little over the top.

I hate to tell you Shot, but NO she didn't roll around on the floor. She was sitting on her ass IN MY ARMS crying her eyes out from the time she got took out of the game til the time I PICKED HER UP off the floor and walked her to the lockerroom. While I was walking her to the lockerroom she asked me where Chessie was so she could congratulate her because they are good friends. JC's girls were on their way to the lockerroom as well, so don't you start that shit about her not having any class either. At that point in time you're not even thinking about that. I would say Pikeville College was the last thing on her mind when that buzzer went off and her high school career was over. If you have never been in that situation before then you have no idea Phoenix.

I have seen MANY players not shake the other teams hands after a loss, I couldn't even count em there has been so many and I'm sure many of you guys have seen it to. Why all of a sudden you guys wanna bring it up and say Chelsee is a bad sport and has no class, OJ Mayo didn't shake our hands after we beat them my Senior year, noone said anything about that, the Dawson kid punted the damn basketball into the cieling and noone said anything about that, give the girl a break, her high school career is over and she can't go back in time and play it again.
