As much respect as I have for many of the LC folks - you aren't one of them. We ALL prayed that LC would beat Rowan so we could hand you your heads this year for crap you pulled last year. We swore as we walked off that field with your players dancing like cheerleaders that we would beat you like 9 year old hitting a drum if you were good enough to earn the re-match. You didn't and unless you can walk on water to beat Bell you want get to take that country butt whipping we owe you.

For your coach and the classy supporters he has - I wish LC well. But I certainly wish we would have gotten the chance to even the score. That loss left a bad taste that has never left. My son and his buds still talk about it to this day. It would have been a real honor to right that wrong but as in life, some things just go unsettled. So be it. But you will not post such nonsense without provoking serious defense. PLEASE get that miracle win at Bell. We would love to have you at our place for dinner.

You will be saying that too when Rowan County beats you guys next Friday. There going to leave a really bad taste in your mouth.

Let's stay on topic though. This has nothing to do with Knox Central and Lawrence County. If you have read the post discussion name before you came into this post (which is Lawrence County beating Bell Co.) you would have known this. So unless you have your opinion on whether or not Lawrence County could potentially beat Bell County or vice versa, then go find another forum to cry on.

Lawrence has no shot of beating Bell. Their solid just like their Undefeated team last year was, but not good enough to play with Bell. These 2 teams or on completely different levels.

Lawrence provided you all with a nice warm locker room you could have went into after the game, but you all, as usual when you lose, elected to stay out on the field and cause trouble. Don't get so fired up about playing us that you forget you have to beat Rowan first. And if by some chance Rowan beats you all please don't make those police officers at Rowan have to escort you're school administration folks off the field. But, if you win, as this is an even numbered year, you will have to come back to Lawrence if we get that "miracle win". And if that happens I am sure you will get a police escort in and out.

This is one of those years where Beating Bell will take a team playing great and Bell making some uncharacteristic mistakes. Knox is better this year than we have ever been; we have every reason to beat our neighbors, we have the talent to do it, the will to do it, and 7 thousand fans poured into our stadium to watch the 1st shot - and we fell short. They are just that good.

For LC to win at Log Mountain would honestly be the biggest upset in the history of Mountain football at this stage. It could happen. Thats why the games are decided on the field not on paper. But it will take some fumbles, penalties, and more to even let a sliver of light into the dark hopeless journey my friends from LC are making to Log Mountain Friday.

I agree we need to cut down on the penalties and yes the line on both side s of the ball will really need to step up. The O line needs to stay with their blocks just a little longer and the D line will need to do their job and keep the L-backers free. I worry about the O line more then the D line. I also know that Mr. Hilton has never lost to Lawrence Co. and things are in his favor to keep it that way but that's why they play the games anything can happen on a given night. Good luck to both and GO DAWGS.

I don't think if I was you I would want to bring up locker rooms or police seeing how those same stones could be thrown at LC themselves, shame on you, if you remember our nice warm locker room we provided you with got destroyed, I thought this thread may have been a little classy this year but it just goes to show you the truth in the saying " you can't teach an old DAWG new tricks"!! I feel sorry for your LC fans and players that do have class, maybe one day they will show you how to earn respect and get it cause obviously you haven't learned it before!! PLZ STAY ON THE TOPIC!!

LC has a nice and upcoming team with a class act coach. The vast majority of their fan base are excellent sports. However there are a few and they know who they are and if ya read all the posts ya will too.:biggrin: BC is operating on another level I am afraid. DH is of cource an icon of Ky High School Football. His teams have spoken for themselves for many years. If you will kindly look to their schedule you will find several teams flattened by BC who are better than the Vikings. I am afraid one of them is South of Lousia. Anyway I sincerely hope the "DAWGS" can pull the big one off. Hey Bob: How is the Silver Bullet Band?

I hated what happen last year as much as anyone. But I also know that it's been addressed and I haven't seen a sign of it this year. They was no excuses for what happen I know they was a lot of stuff going on that night not all of it was LC but that doesn't matter we should have been the bigger person and kept our emotions in check. But we are talking about kids here and I am 99% sure you will not see it happen again this year. Thanks for your support and I too hope they leave it all on the field because for some it will be the last time they will ever put on the pads either for LC or BC. Here's hoping for an injury free game.:Thumbs:
