Now I have to laugh at the 28 pts though, seriously. We have only given up 78 pts in 11 games.

For the record TheWhiz is a guy that never made it in football instead just stuck with baseball. For whatever reason he's made a decision to come on BGR and throw his classmates under the bus. To each his own I suppose. Unlike him I am around the LC football program all the time and I can assure you we respect Bell Co and all of their accomplishments. They have a lot to be proud of and until somebody knocks them off they are the team to beat.

Nice post bulldog42. I don't judge a fanbase due to the words of one individual. Lord knows we have several that gives us a black eye too.
I don't know the deal with this guy. Earlier this week he was very critical of the LC program and now he comes on here predicting a win against BC. It's fine to make predictions. But why predict LC to win against BC after all the criticism? Sounds like someone who has a lot of jealousy inside himself. Oh well, to each his own. Good luck to you guys. Let's hope for an injury free game......Congrats also on the win against RC tonight....Sounds like you guys were clicking on all cylinders..

Your act is getting old Chris! As for last year both Lawrence and Bell had people at the game that embarassed their program. That's the past and our program learned from it. None of the post game junk that went on last year which makes me feel like we've grown because we've been there before. Sometimes you have to learn to handle winning when you've been down so bad.

So this person is from Lawrence Co. I just thought he was an outsider trying to stir things up. And I also thought it just might me a girl the way he seems to be so fascinated with Hunter and didn't know much about the sport of football. Well like most people have already said every fan base has one or two and we all know that LC has our share. Good luck Dawgs you will defiantly need to play your A game and cut out all the mistakes to have a chance. It can be done GO DAWGS.

This weeks game is a game all players and coaches love to be in. LC an underdog, as usual, Bell favored to win by eleventy billion, as usual. If LC can keep it close, JYD's this means you, then they have a shot at pulling off an upset. However, if the LC offense does not take care of the ball it will not matter. The win against Rock was because the LC defense kept taking the ball back and giving it to the offense. The LC offense allowed 3 or 4 sacks, had an illegal forward pass, several motion penalties, and several passes that a Bell defense would take to the house. If we play this way against Bell the results will be like last year. With that being said, LC has developed a solid passing attack. They have some speed and a QB that can get them the ball. This is the big difference between this year and last. Bell will have to respect the passing game. And of course that brings us to the usual key to any game and that is line play. In football it always is and always will be about line execution. And the intangibles such as heart. I look for a very hard fought game. LC is no different than any other team Bell has played, as far as wanting to knock off a powerhouse. If you are to be the best you have to beat the best. The ONLY way to get respect is to earn it. Lets go earn some respect DAWGS.

I agree we need to cut down on the penalties and yes the line on both side s of the ball will really need to step up. The O line needs to stay with their blocks just a little longer and the D line will need to do their job and keep the L-backers free. I worry about the O line more then the D line. I also know that Mr. Hilton has never lost to Lawrence Co. and things are in his favor to keep it that way but that's why they play the games anything can happen on a given night. This is one of those years where Beating Bell will take a team playing great and Bell making some uncharacteristic mistakes. Knox is better this year than we have ever been; we have every reason to beat our neighbors, we have the talent to do it, the will to do it, and 7 thousand fans poured into our stadium to watch the 1st shot - and we fell short. They are just that good.

For LC to win at Log Mountain would honestly be the biggest upset in the history of Mountain football at this stage. It could happen. Thats why the games are decided on the field not on paper. But it will take some fumbles, penalties, and more to even let a sliver of light into the dark hopeless journey my friends from LC are making to Log Mountain Friday.

As much respect as I have for many of the LC folks - you aren't one of them. We ALL prayed that LC would beat Rowan so we could hand you your heads this year for crap you pulled last year. We swore as we walked off that field with your players dancing like cheerleaders that we would beat you like 9 year old hitting a drum if you were good enough to earn the re-match. You didn't and unless you can walk on water to beat Bell you want get to take that country butt whipping we owe you.

For your coach and the classy supporters he has - I wish LC well. But I certainly wish we would have gotten the chance to even the score. That loss left a bad taste that has never left. My son and his buds still talk about it to this day. It would have been a real honor to right that wrong but as in life, some things just go unsettled. So be it. But you will not post such nonsense without provoking serious defense. PLEASE get that miracle win at Bell. We would love to have you at our place for dinner.
