You'd think at least another 1 of them could fire these kids up!!! I always have disliked it when a team just lies down and gives up and thats unfortunately what I'm seeing.....I cant say that i agree. These boys are deffinately not laying down & giving up! Thats the last thing they are doing! These boys... from freshmen to seniors.. have their whole heart & soul into the game! And maybe some of the coaches arent making the right decisions, but there are a few coaches who are trying to get the whole team on track!
I believe that there needs to be some changes in who needs to be on the field more! Somethings need to be changed a bit.. and you can't just blame the coaches for everything that goes wrong. Dont discourage these boys! They are giving it all they can!

Let me try this again...I didn't mean they were laying down and quitting. I just felt like they get so down they can't get up. We can't blame these kids for everything-there has to be some blame elsewhere. Things aren't working the way they are but we all know its not likely to change anytime soon. I am behind these kids-win or lose. I just want them to keep their heads up and believe in themselves.

I am going to look for my old shirt from high school (fall of '81) that a team member made up in Graphic Art class it says: " Beat P'burg "

If theres a slight chance that one of those boys is starting to get down about the game.. there are team mates who are telling him to pick himself back up because he is a Bulldawg and a true Bulldawg doesnt get down! No matter what! I dont know how many times Ive seen a few boys get upset about how the game is turning out.. but, I can guarantee you they werent down for long, becayse i know first hand that Coach Dixon will be one of the first people to step up & get them fired up just like they were when they ran out of the Dawg Pound! And along with him, there are several other boys who get so motivated they get everyone else fired up.. which is an AMAZING THING!
These boys have what it takes. They may be off to a rocky start.. but thats only going to build them up to blow everyone away!
I do agree on the changes. I think the Seniors need to be played more. There is incredible talent through out the seniors and that needs to be shown! Coty Roberts, Timmy Cantrell and Acie Waller have shown what talent they have.. it needs to be seen more! Along with freshman, Chandler Shepherd. I have a feeling some changes will be made soon!

I believe these boys have a good shot at winning this game. It's the 4th game of the season and I am sure they are ready to bring home a win! Pburg is a tough place. But, our boys can get rough & rowdy and thats what they need to! I have all the faith in the world in these boys.

With everybody talking about our coaching staff at lc i think that if you think you can do better lets see it i dont see you guys showing up at practice or taking time out of your day to better these kids in life were just in a slump right now and these coaches no that there working hard putting in the time just like all the other coaches in the state.

For everyone who doesn't like the new offensive coach, or Goldsmith, or whoever.. if you think you can guarantee you could do a better job and win every single game from here until the football is no longer a sport.. then, go for it! But, if that was a case.. I am sure you would have already been a coach by now!! :lmao:
I believe these boys will be pulling it together soon. Can't wait to watch them play tomorrow! GOOD LUCK! :letsparty

Gametime forecast, Mostly Cloudy 70 F 20% chance of rain. The field here at Prestonsburg is wet, but should have some grip by gametime.
Good Luck to both teams. Go Blackcats!
