Greenup's offense is improved? They had 26 yards versus Russell.

Raceland should win this game. However, Raceland teams often don't live up to expectations, so you never know.

Both are good defensive teams but I gotta give the edge to the Rams offensively. Rams win 21-14 in a slobber knocker.

In terms of potential, yes, Greenups offense has improved. That Backyard Brawl was a bad football game for both teams offensively. They looked lost at times, both QBs looked rushed even when they had all day to throw. The games will start to slow down for them as the year goes on. Greenup's LBs are really the only area that could potentially cause Raceland problems. we will find out tonight if a team loads the box on us, if we can stretch them back out by making good throws and catches. If we make GC stay honest defensively, it could be a long night for the Muskies. If we dont, then it will likely be another defensive battle.
I do think you will see Grizzle slow their tempo down a little bit and try to limit our possessions. In order for GC to be successful offensively, Warnock will need 15-20 carries this evening in hopes of being able to control the clock. Hopefully though, my Rams come out firing on all cylinders like they did from their first possession of the East Carter game.

How do you improve in terms of potential? You saying the scheme is better?

Yes. The scheme is more explosive and more diverse. BUT, its not something a team generally picks up in the amount of time they have been working with it. I did like Greenup's play calling and they continued to stay within the system. It was just sloppy. Last year their passing game was did not exist and when they had a few ints or multiple drops/incompletions early, they scrapped it for the rest of the game and became one demensional. They will begin to click around district time, imo. Which is what u want, imo.
