Mayfield got there butts handed to them in some of the later meetings, but it looks like most of the earlier meetings the teams where pretty even. Mayfield likely should have another win or 2 against the ads, in some of those nailbiters, but that's football. Its just amazing that Mayfield was 1 play short of beating Danville in the first 3 meetings, but guess the ball didn't bounce there way.

Could've should've would've. We got beat. They were the better team those years. I think everyone will agree that it has since changed though and so has the mindset.

^^ Pikeville had a big time problem with Beechwood throughout the 90's. Just one of those things.
