I wouldn't call this an upset just a loss if JC looses to MC. The ultimate upset occurred in 2004 I believe during the district tourney when MC defeated JC who was picked to win the district..........that was an upset!

I agree with that I was a senior that year and our boys losing was definately an upset.

This will be a battle between two 57th District teams. When JC and MC play they seem to be a lot of emotions going on. D. Rice for Magoffin should have a big game and McCarty for JC will get his shots and points. Should be a good game to watch. I'm going with Magoffin in a close one. Magoffin 64 - JC 61

This should be a good battle between these 2 middle of the pack 15th region teams... I will take JC by single digits since the game is at JC...

3rd win of the season actually. I was on that team, but anyways. I believe if Fletcher and Eric Arnett stay out of foul trouble they can contain McCarty. But if not I dont see anyone else on Magoffin holding McCarty. So if they stay out of foul trouble then Magoffin should be able to handle the Eagles. If not its going to be a long night for the Hornets.

I dont understand why the 14 and 15th dont play each other more...I mean like the good teams and not Cordia and Allen Central

Excuse me, But Allen Central is playing pretty good Ball right now. One of the better teams in the 15th so far thi season. And Cordia isn't even in the 15th. So know what your talking about before you speak. :howdy:

I understaand that Johnson Central will be honoring the first Regional Championship basketball team from 1972. This was the team that upset the great team from Betsy Layne that had Dan Hall and then beat Maytown in the finals. This all will take place between games as players, cheerleaders and coaches will be introduced from the 1972 team that are present.

And the W's or L's are zero when entering the district. Rankings however was that MC was the lowest ranked in the district and JC was top.
