He should have never been allowed to shoot that shot. Foul, Foul, had one to give. 10 seconds to go. Ball inbounds a pass or a couple dribbles, foul. Now there in 6 r 7 sec. left in game, deny ball in, once inbound foul again. Put KC on line with 6 sec or less. Get ball inbounds (if he hits them) Foul walk to other end with very little time left. Everyone always says that, but I rarely ever hear anyone do it.
I saw Kentucky do something like that one year in Knoxville. The UT guy hits the first three throw, Tennessee gets the rebound and scores and draws a foul.
I probably would have been for going for a steal there with nothing to lose, but Barger is so fast it would have been hard to do.
I thought Jones had a great gameplan either way though. It was a big improvement from the earlier game at KC.
