My sources say August 15th at Monroe County. 7:00 pm OUR time or EST. Date is solid, time may change.

Just left their practice, not big but they are super fast and have a lot of skill. 7-8 wins should be the least they win, anything less is a shock after aeronautical the speed of the guys tonight.

Sorry but just don't see it. But we will how their speed is when they play Madison central! See if they can run down Harris.

I do live in Pulaski and stopped by on way home from Lexington to see some family and they were at practice. I am a rock fan that lives in Pulaski. And they do have lots of speed and will slow Damien Harris down enough to win in the end.

If I were Rockcastle, I'd load up the LOS and sell out for the run and Harris. It would be pass the ball all day for Southern before I'd let him run over me like he did last year in the second half with the wildcat stuff and the extra blocker. My corners would be extra wide out there to attempt to keep him from getting the outside line. But that is just one sideline spectator's opinion. Rockcastle kept him in check for the first half last year and I think they were up at half time maybe with Harris returning a punt for a TD in the first half. When he didn't have to wait on the handoff with the wildcat and had the extra blocker, it was like running down to the store for a gallon of milk. The boy could do it all day and Rock couldn't stop him with the defense they were set up in and of course, they didn't adjust.
As far as the team and their season record goes, like I said earlier, average talent, average speed and the wild card will be if they keep the heart and intensity I saw at that camp I visited. A five win season would be a succesful one in my opinion. Anything more would be a suprise and anything less is very possible if the kids lose that intensity.

I agree I would make them beat me with the pass too. Harris seemed to run wild against most teams last year after they slowed him for a few minutes lol. he is a true talent for sure. hopefully the Rockets can slow him down but its gonna be tough.

Finally someone who understands what it's going to take.

This will be an interesting season. I have read predictions from 2 wins to 8. Hopefully solid improvements at least.

If you think Rockcastle beats Southern this year you are on something. If Harris plays it's over...Nuff said.
