McDaniel is a nice player, but I wouldn't say he's in a "different league" than Fox or Brewer.
I thought Asher and Henson were awfully good in that gym in the late 90s. I'm surprised he's passed them up already. I heard he was even better as a golfer.

McDaniel is one of the top golfers in the state. He has even won a couple AJGA tour events. The AJGA is like the PGA for juniors. It's the top level of junior golf in the world.
