Did scheduling Highlands destroy Boyle Co's program?

^ Agreed!

Kudos to wideleft for once again getting everyone riled up.

Almost 30 replies and he was done after the first post.

You guys gotta learn eventually...

How did you not see my counter? Sadly he didn't bite.

^ I'll "bite" on it. First off, playing Trinity was a great experience despite the score. I mean, does anybody in the state really think they can compete with Trinity? We are the only school that can come close to doing so. And we got destroyed. Second, us playing Trinity is different from Boyle playing us. Boyle was expected to at least be able to make it a game. We were not expected to come close against Trinity. It's no big deal losing to Trinity because it's a scrimmage and the #1 team in the nation will definitely expose your weaknesses. It is a big deal to Boyle because they will have to deal with us if they have any aspirations of a state title.

Nope, it didn't hurt their program...

There is no way that did any damage to their program. Maybe the last two years Boyle wasn't up to par to playing Highlands but before that Boyle was beating Highlands when they were both in the 3A. We aren't talking about Trinity here Highlands may be good but unbeatable and killing a program I don't see that at all. To add to this Boyle would of had to play them in the playoffs anyway if they would of got by Catholic last year in the playoffs. At that point what do they do call Khsaa and say we forfeit because if we play Highlands our program may no longer have confidence and be able to win. This thread holds no merit.

My other thread got deleted, so we will continue off this one. After struggling to put Dixie Heights away, will Boyle County ever be back to achieving greatness? As long as Highlands is in their bracket, I don't see it happening. Maybe they should switch to 5A against a pathetic team like Bowling Green where they would have a chance.

^ See, you just couldn't help yourself. You started your post with a very intelligent comment, and then completely made a ridiculous comment at the end! This is an opinion site. But to make up purely bogus comments "Pathetic team like Bowling Green" completely ruins your credibility, thus the moniker of Troll. I honestly don't get you. You used to be one of the favorites around here and then you have completely destroyed your reputation with by making comments like this! Why? What purpose does this serve you. You used to contribute really great posts, then something that is not an opinion, because you know that Bowling Green is NOT a pathetic program - you have and there is NO proof that they are a pathetic program, thus, do you really think its TROLLING to make such a comment?

Trolling can be fun, but this isn't even trolling, this is pure mockery of the site, the one that you pay zero fees to be a member. You say you love QQ and what he did for all of us members, you you mock the integrety of this site with all of these types of posts! And honestly, I don't get it!

Continue you on, you are breaking no rules, but honestly, you are so much better than this. I really do like like! Honestly I do! I have gotten frustrated with these types of comments. You used to make completely valid comments, even good trolling comments that created good debates. But a comment like the BG program, well, I just had so much more respect for your contributions than this. I wish the old Moniker was back, because you and I both know that this "Wide Show" BS is pure rip-off, not something that the original Wide even supports! Again, I truly like you, I just don't understand you anymore!

Rip on me all you want, I honestly don't care. I just wish I could have the old poster that I knew before you went in this direction!

Good point Dustbag. Just support left if that's your view. Don't try to be left. We don't need a double wide parked here.
