Thanks to all who responded regarding the SC/Prestonsburg previous won/loss
record. Recently I had heard some inaccurate statistics and was curious as to what the true record was.

Again, thanks.

Playing Sheldon Clark has always been a war between these two teams. I know the past players remember this rivalry quite well with wins and losses but this game brings great energy on Friday night and you know pads will be popping.

Blackcats, play with intensity, heart and emotion just like the second half of the PPC game and we will be fine...

Practice hard, Play harder!!!

I've got the Blackcats in this one.

Prestonsburg by 1 or 2 TD's

On a side note I had a friend who was helping at SC a couple years ago and kept me updated on them. Anyone have a list of coaches for both teams?

Maybe so. hmmm.... Damn, I'm getting old.

Since most of us know nothing about the strength of SC's first opponent, Harrison County, it's hard to assesses how strong/weak SC is.

With that being said, I will go with Prestonsburg by two to three TDs. They beat a good Perry County Central team, and the game is at Prestonsburg.

this game will tell alot ,the blackcats will make the cards show what they have ,but i gotta go with the cards ,good luck to all
#45
Should be a great game but, I am going to have to take Prestonsburg at home.

Prestonsburg - 35

Sheldon Clark - 21

I won't either. Prestonsburg played well for 3 quarters last week against 5A Perry County Central, but I didn't check out Sheldon Clark, so, at this point, I'm picking with only one side of the information. I will go with Prestonsburg, though. No speculation on the score.

I feel Prestonsburg has more playmakers so I'll take Prestonsburg 34-13. I've heard that Coach DeRossett had the boys doing tackling drills on Monday, so hopefully they fixed their arm tackling problem from last week.

That's very debatable. SC has quite a few skill guys who can make things happen. SC is coming off a decent win with given what happened last year, but I think this game is a few weeks too early for them to win on the road. Should be a good game as always though.

The Jarrells, Marcum, Frasure, Griffith, Anderson, and Williams are all very good playmaker, but I guess we will find out this Friday.

This is true, and they also ran there tails off lol.

Prestonsburg had several underclassmen playing last week. I think with the live game experience coupled with Mondays practice you will see a different P'burg team this week.

This years team will have a lot of young guys playing key roles & will only get better each game.

One thing we did learn from the first game is this team has heart & will not quit. I look for them to make a statement this week & let everyone know there back.

Another element in the equation that I don't think has been mentioned, is Coach Derossett. He always seems to get the best out of what he has. And it appears that he has some good, young talent this season.

Sheldon Clark has their work cut out for them!

How does a young Prestonsburg team respond after a big win last Friday? They should win by at least 2 TD's...........The next two games are must wins with a road trip to Belfry in week four.

As long as we can keep passing the ball like we did in the 2nd half last week, we will cruise to a victory tonight. HAIL BLACKCATS!

Pburg is young but i also watched i get the feeling they shy away from the contact.they are small and the line needs to improve.thats why ther was no running game.
