Breathitt 57 - Hazard 34

LOOKAYANNER Wrote:Perry and Knott are #1 and 2. That's a definite.

So...
are you saying that Breathitt is better than Buckhorn and Wolfe? Wolfe just beat them the other night, then Buckhorn beat Wolfe. Buckhorn also beat Tates Creek (in Lexington) and North Laurel.

I would place Breathitt around #5 at the present time, and that's because I don't know much about Letcher or how good they will be this year.

So where do you have Wolfe? 4th or 6th?

This is how I would rank them

1) Perry County Central
2) Knott County Central
3) Buckhorn
4) Wolfe County
5) Breathitt County
6) Letcher County Central
7) Hazard
8) Cordia
9) Lee County
10) Powell County

The last 4 could be flip flopped

Solid win for Breathitt!

watch the game it was a good win for Breathitt. The Noble boy had a really good game saw the other game in Wolfe too. Breathitt looks good but it seem to me that Coach Noble was still doing most of the coaching so why did they fired him and put that guy coaching too. It looks to me they keeped Noble around to keep his boy if he was gone Breathitt wouldnt win a game he is the best player they have he can play every where.

Come-On-Man Wrote:I would have to disagree. I thought Breathitt played well against Wolfe, but they had no answer for Denniston and Conway. They are both much improved this year. Denniston is a load for anyone and he got Breathitt in foul trouble late in the game and that was the deciding factor. I give both teams credit. That was as entertaining a game as anyone could want and it was a shame to see either of them go home with an L. I think Wolfe and Breathitt will be better than anyone thought and I hope they don't draw each other in the district because I would like to see both of them in the region. Both could make some noise.

Dude I don't know what game you was watching but the bobcats played horible against Wolfe Co. I'm not taking anything from Wolfe Co they have had alot more practice time since the don't play football. It sometimes takes a team that supports a football team a couple weeks longer to get their football legs. The Denniston is a good player but he was at the foul line at least 10 or 11 times.
